FED Chairman Jerome Powell, who made important statements, also touched on the issue of central bank-backed digital money (CBDC).

Powell stated that they are not in a hurry with regard to CBDC, considering the possible risks to the US dollar.

Do you think it would be easy for the FED to issue a central bank-backed digital currency (CBDC)?

the issue of a central bank backed digital currency, is really not something I will encourage as the currency will still be regulated by the central bank. Already we can use the existing fiat currencies to carry out digital transactions.

I couldn't agree any less because I know that such currency wouldn't be volatile in nature like Cryptos and in fact I really do not see what extraordinary purpose it would be serving.

I think they are not in a hurry to implement that knowing the danger it might poss to dollar. The good news is that big financial institutions are beginning to see the importance if digital currency.
