I have heard lots of people creating blogs on daily basis though most of them are not monetize yet. Most of them do pick a niche in the process. I wish to know if I can create a blog without picking any niche such that I can post anything in it and possibly monetize after a while.

Yes, it is very possible to start a blog without limiting it into a specific niche. There you can now create several categories then write about those categories. I think this idea is great since we all have ideas in several areas and not just one specific niche.

I agree with you. A blog with a specific niche actually gives you direction on what you post everyday. But a blog with several niches is also good because you will never run out of what to post.

yes that seems to be true a blog with specific niched will give you direction,before you create any blog you need to ask yourself what information that will be monetixe in it and this lead to search for what people are looking for so when you know this and provide content to your blog base on your search this bring so much traffic and if you have adnetwork in it you tends to make money

Yeah, that is correct. I was recently researching about a certain topic and I found a blog that specifies on that topic alone. This was so great for my research and made realise that having a niche with one specific topic can attract alot of traffic since people can get so much information from just one place.

It is not more difficult than it is for a niche that is centered. You do have to put in more effort in keywords research, and a lot more effort in actively promoting the site.

It will also be helpful if you have categories that are intrinsically popular, such and news, entertainment and fashion.

Choosing and sticking to a perticular niche will definitely give your blogging a better and stable start but still if you want you can definitely start blogging about almost anything that catches you intrest.
