Now a days, can websites survive without SEO?

I'm wondering since there are other options for increasing the rankings of websites on search engines

There a lot of websites out there which rely on paid traffic. search engine optimisation traffic is slow for some website so they don't rely on it. This website needs a kind of traffic that will come faster which will allow them to determine the right channel they need to follow in order to increase the conversion rate in the website. Frankly speaking I think that some website can survive without doing seo,it is through seo that you can get targeted traffic but there are still some other ways which you can drive massive traffic to your website,quora is a very good place to get traffic and I also think reddit is one of the best place to attrack alot of people but I dont know if reddit is still working now its been long since I use it
