❓ASK Can we cloud mine Monero ?

Monero uses the Random X algorithm which makes it impossible for one to use a PC to cloud mine it. The algorithm makes mining Monero not to be accessible to ASIC miners used in cloud mining.

Your laptop is decent and can actually mine Monero. But I don't think you would be able to mine something reasonable with it. It is not advisable. Your PC might not be able to generate a significant hash rate that would make your mining activity with it really profitable. The best bet still remains joining a dedicated mining rig to mine Monero.

If you want to do mining that is your choice but actually most of the times the running cost of electricity will be more when you try mining coin like Monero you have to always make sure that you mine a coin that is new in the market and it can make you have decent profit in the long run actually indeed with its growth in the market in the potential future
K then what coin do you recommand ? (I dont pay electricity)

You can study the facts like difficulty of a coin from website like coin market cap and then you can make a decision you should opt for a coin that has must difficulty and it has shown growth in the past most of the people who are actually mining they are doing so on coins that are having low value because high value coins have much volatility so you have to be safe from such things that can make you a big loss at time indeed .
So dogecoin or other alts are good ?

Dogecoin
is a fine option if you want to do mining you can go for it since you do not have to pay for the electricity cost so you can always have some revenue in the form of mining you can still study different coins and can look at there difficulty and from there you can choose the coin of your choice that you believe would grow in the market in the future
Well im trying to install cpuminer to mine $DOGE but idk why it dont work when i extract the zip file on my desktop and then open the minerd file it dont show anything. Can you maybe help me ?
