some men do this business but I will advice you send him to school first nail painting business can not satisfy his future need except he has alot of money and open the business in an enviroment where women and young teen operate the most like higher institution

Um... that's literally sexism if you say that he can't, which in most countries isn't tolerated in the workplace. Of course, your brother can! He should get some training first, but if he is good at it, nobody should say no to him.

well if that is what you mean I agree with you nobody can stop him if that is his choice of business he just need some training that will get him started I have seen some men doing hair dressing sometime I consider it as chaice we made so if that fellow make such choice then his requestmust be granted.

Some of the best makeup artists in area are men. And they are really good.

Encourage him. As long as he can make enough to support himself, it can even eventually turn to a large organization.

I think i mostly see women do such job , but there are stores that the person can stil try and join those women if they would contribute and run thr business with him

I agree with GoldenLady!!

Nail painting is just the start, he can try and learn more for makeup, nails and all that stuff around the beauty niche. Because he is a male doesn't mean he cannot paint nails!

He can give it a shot! :)

I dont get your point are you talking about him learning everything in the bauty niched?that may seems bothen to him,if he want to start the nail painting business alone then why not allow him to focus on that alone for his full concerntration, please if I quote you wrong please elaborate your post in details

I am just saying that after he learns about nail painting maybe he wants to learn more about the beauty niche (make up for example) , a 19 years old "boy" can make a lot of career changes throughout the years that come.

If he is stable with money then it's good but education should be first priority then side kicks should be added this business requires expertise patience and investment so better proceed with care

Boys and men have been doing this business for years now in my country. There's nothing wrong with it. It just for one to be professional about it

I've seen this question posed over at another forum I'm a member of and I found it strange. I don't see why not. Quite honestly, what's wrong with a man working in the beauty industry? As it stands, many men are very successful beauty therapists, makeup artists, fashion designers, chefs etc - and those are 'traditionally considered women's roles'. Dare I say in those areas, we've even seen men beat us, women, at 'our own game'?

Yes it good in as much he has passion for it, most men do it for a living and are making enough money. All you need to do is guide him and let him do it best, in no distance time customers will be chasing him.

I think its quite unfortunate that many that have seen who does things like that , absolutely do it not for the passion , since they are really in need of money

Right in certain situations but if art industry is promoted in a country such people can have more value fee channels in our country heavy promote such artists for their talent displaying the culture which uz great

Man, if you want it and you work hard to learn to do it why not? There's no rule that says male's can't do it. It's just that it's normally done by girls doesn't mean we can't if we want to.

Yeah but some government arent concerned about improving and promoting art displays i think, so i think it would be good for them to adopt it as people would know see the business as a norm

Yeah its no surprise and considering the fact that he wants to be a beautician at a younger age it means he will perfect his art and grow to becoje really good.A job is all about passion and liking it.
