Which one do you prefer? Buy a franchise to have a business or create your own concept for your business?

If bad management and or relocation is the the reason for franchising a business then it will be a good idea to buy a franchise and build on the challenges but if the reasons are related to insecurity and low market coverage it might be not be advisable to engage in such .

It is interesting to know and technology is really making things very easy four people especially when it comes to business. Until now I never knew that small businesses can partner with Amazon, flipkart and shopify to have their businesses in their space or get promoted.

Buying franchise to me is like helping another person building his dream. Why not start when with a little capital business of our own? No matter how small it may be now, I can still promote it to my taste. Apology to the advocate of franchise, but I always see them as people that don't really believe in their own dreams of making their own business greater but prefer to be hiding under the shadow of another successful business.

You are probably right because a lot of people love to associate business with a sense of achievement and but as for me I am going into business solely because I would love to make money from it. If I believe that buying a franchise from somebody is going to help me to achieve that then I do not see anything wrong in going all out on it.

It depends on you, if you have the money to buy an already made one then go for it, it would save you the trouble of building it from scratch and fighting for traffic but some persons prefer building it from the beginning so they can structure it how they want to.

Generally, creating a new business is the better idea, however, we cannot neglect a host of factors that play a major role in this case. For one thing, there might not be enough capital to start up a business. Also the registration process and the paperworks needed to fill out can be stressful. In such cases, a franchise might not be out of the question.

To start a manufacturing business we need to complete some more facility but to start a shop we need to complete less formality. They benefit of having a franchise that we need not to promote products, because peoples know about the product

I actually agree with this because you should not just by any kind of franchise because it is on sale. There are some people that will like to sell it because that particular industry is already fading away all the business is generally not bringing any profit and if you buy it then you might be trapped in a very difficult situation.

I can completely understand that it is going to be easier for you to buy an existing business because you will not have to do the paperwork and acquisition of licences again. But then you cannot be so sure that things like the location of the business and the image that the business has created is what you would have initially wanted.

I love both ideas. Firstly, I love the idea of my own business idea - perfecting it, nurturing it and scaling it up. I think in that sense, its success would give me the sense of accomplishment and pride I couldn't get from buying a franchise.
However, there are certain brands I'd love to see in my country. With truckloads of money to burn, I'd look to bring respected franchises such as McDonalds, Costa/Starbucks, TK Maxx, Zara and Mango to my country. The retail kings here are so shortsighted and tight, they can never think of going beyond South Africa - and to be brutally honest, the brands are tired and BORING beyond description. My idea would be to shake up the market!

Franchise cost too much in India and it is mostly rented/leased with name. Big names ask for big amount, and small names do not have anything in which a business should invest.

You are right. Most time seeing bhsiness to join the franchise is always very difficult to come by. Big ones most time always make their conditions so high for common people to join; while the small ones will not have the capacity to cater for the people that want to invest in them.

Buying a franchise to have a business is good because you don't have to go through much stress on like creating your own concept for your business, you have to do a lot of research and making sure you come up with the best ideas, I will prefer creating my own business.

Frenchise has helped in corona period. Online shopping has been on the rise for the last few years, and the Corona period has given a phenomenal increase to it. But this has caused damage to small traders.
Small merchants were not successful in taking their business online, they also found it difficult to get established on large platforms like Amazon.

I have found that many small businessmen moved for jobs under big merchants. Yet big name franchises have largely been able to keep their business.

With the way in which a lot of companies have been reported to be failing of right from their start-up stage a lot of people will feel it is going to be easier for you to just buy a business that has already been set up. In as much as this is going to be the better idea it is not going to be easy because not too many people are going to want to build a business to a very big stage and then they are just going to sell it off just like that.

A lot of things might be put into context for anybody who want to consider something like this. For example everybody would like to buy a franchise because the building must have already been built and they are not going to struggle with all the basics of licensing and the rest. The problem is that you do not know if you are going to buy a business that the equipment are already worn out.

This doesn't matter, not everyone is going to be a tycoon, there are always people who want to start up from first step of the ladder, this doesn't mean that they are lazy, they are fresh and struggling. Frenchise helps people from advertising, lots of preparation etc, but they will need their own building.

I think the creating own business takes more time. And so making the franchise business is a lot better option. And there are some of the options that you can do with the franchise. and it can be really good way there. I think franchise earning can be good there.

I go with your opinion, though it's good to do things and achieve outcomes independently because it will give you that outrightness and fortify you with the expertise to overcome certain limitations.
Though, you can equally combine both for a more effective outcome.

Create my own business. Franchises have a set of regulations put in place to restrict creativity. Franchise is a good idea for people who don't have their own original business idea, or don't know where to start. I would rather create my on business since that will give me more flexibility.

I prefer to create my own business , because buying a franchise could be risky , because if the person that buys the business doesn't have that same knowledge with the person that is running the franchise business he bought ,the person might really find it difficult to build up the business , like for instance grow the business to a more sucessful and better one

That depends on your interest, there are businesses that can accommodate other related business in order for it to function properly or effectively, and if the owner has the funds to acquire it, no problem but if it is not related business acquiring it is not good.

For a better business, you will need to get into popular online market like Amazon, rather than your own website (because brand website is mote popular). Same way, big customer traffic and more sale is possible when you open to people under brand name, and franchise gives you NOC for using brand name.
