I started using Brave browser a while back. Initially I was getting decent amount of ads but right now the amount of ads I receive has reduced. This is why I have this question. Can we earn just by having the brave browser open in the background or should I browse actively using the browser to get ads and earn?

Thank you for your suggestion. I just had it open in the background. No wonder, I was getting very few ads in the last few months. I have withdrawn from them in the past. I will go ahead and start using them actively and see if that changes the number of ads I get on a daily basis.

I am just wondering why this brave browser earning feature has not been tagged legit if more people have been paid from it before .

The only unfortunate part for me is that I had earned a $5 from it but I lost my phone and PC and lost my earnings.This time around I want to know how be able to syncronize all my saved data on brave browser so that it could be easy to retrieve from another device.

Brave browser is my best browser. Apart from the fact that it is a browser that pays users, it is also a browser with grate functions. The browser is fast when I browse websites on it and it also saves data.
But ever since I have been using it and I have been earning from ads that I view, I never get paid more than 0.25 BAT every month even if I earn more than that. And there minimum withdraw is 15 BAT. So when will I reach minimum withdraw?

Okay i am using this browser because of how it doesn't give me intrusive advertisements on my surfing time. However, i have not reach the amount to withdraw because i did not known what that auto contribute mean and when i visited a website it takes my bat!

You must not enable auto contribute, otherwise you will give away BAT to a specific site and it takes much longer to reach your minimum withdraw amount.

Did you also connect an Uphold account to your browser? Because every first week of a new month, your earnings of the last month are transferred to your Uphold account and from there you can transfer it to your own bank account. And you can store your earnings in your Uphold account. And if you reach the minimum, you can make a withdrawal request. if im not mistaken, brave has reduced or eliminated, the way to earn on their site. even when you could earn, it was only pennies usd, that you could earn. maybe check out any recent youtube videos on how to earn on brave. i know some time ago, there were videos of people earning using brave. but all in all, brave browser is crap. its really power / cpu hungry, more than chrome, will lock up your computer, etc. i only use it to claim some cryptos that pay double, when you claim when using brave browser. then i shut it down.

there is another good browser, called opera. i have used it. it seems to be pretty good. private & very fast. not power hungry at all. try it.

To be able to cashout you have to connect an Uphold account to it. Search on Google for Uphold and setup your bank account in the Uphold account. Once a month (mostly in the first week of a new month) your BAT from Brave will be transferred to your Uphold account. And when you reach the minimum amount, you can withdraw it from your Uphold account to your own bank account.

I've been using brave and I love it. I haven't been able to cash out yet but I will post when I have enough to do so. I honestly don't know why anyone would use any other browser. I've noticed that is blocks YouTube ads which I like.

because its power hungry as hell. just look at my screen shot. it also crashes / locks up any other browser you have open at the same time as brave, then you have privacy issues ( which they say you shouldnt = lie ), the amount of bat you get paid for using brave is a joke, you also have security issues, among some other lovely problems when you use brave. ill stick to fire fox & the few issues i encounter with mozilla.

I don't have problems with that. And as long you get paid by using that browser I will keep using it. I made a withdrawal twice already (see my earlier posts in this thread). But if you don't like it, then you must not use it of course. It's your opinion but I have very good experiences with this Brave Browser and good earnings.

Payments have been made around the 8th of each month, in June with the next payment I will have in total more than 2 BAT
I know it's not so much but I think it depends on where you reside, I don't have a lot of ads even if I setup the max (up to 10 by each hour)

So in the end, for my expecience Brave Browser is legit

the amount of ads that you get shown now on brave is less than half from over a yr ago. mainly because the advertisers realized that advertising on brave wasnt worth the money spent. brave did a big advertising campaign when it 1st came out, saying how wonderful it was, how fast it was, blah, blah, blah. it was just basically a marketing campaign just to get revenue. if you go to trust pilot, brave has stopped answering back for over a yr now. even on fake book they have stopped being so active.

i only use brave to collect some cryptos that pay double when you collect using the brave browser, like on pipe flare. then i shut it down.

I understand your point but in the end this topic is about Brave being scam or legit, not worth or not worth :)
