The Shiba Inu community's efforts to get their SHIB token listed on major Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges have paid off, as BitFlyer, one of the largest crypto exchanges in Japan with over 2.5 million users, has announced that it will begin handling SHIB.

The campaign will begin on March 22 and end as soon as BitFlyer begins handling SHIB, according to a tweet from the exchange translated from Japanese. This announcement comes shortly after OkCoinJapan, the Japanese subsidiary of San Francisco-based exchange OkCoin, began handling SHIB on February 28 and reported positive feedback following the listing.

One of the Shiba Inu community members, known as @Cheggy19 on Twitter, has been leading the charge to list SHIB on Japanese crypto exchanges. The move to list SHIB on major exchanges in Japan was initiated 258 days ago, and the community has been tirelessly advocating for its adoption ever since.

This is good for the token in question, the more exchanges list it the more purchase options it will have worldwide, and well the fact that it is included in Japanese exchanges can be a good move, since we know that the Shiba inu dog is one of the emblem dogs of Japan and surely many Japanese feel sympathy for the token.

That's good for japan but they are hard core savers and they wont invest much but will use it as an payment option only so it adds utility but not much investment will be flowing in and if it does that will be neutralized soon too indeed .

Shiba inu has improved over the past few weeks. I believe it may be due to it's listing on bitflyer and other promotional factors of the coin. It's good news, but i don't think shiba would have any massive boom as of now.
