South Korea has plenty of bitcoin users but those users are mainly criminals who use bitcoin to conduct illegal activities. It's sad to see that people would do such vile acts. It has been reported that people were accessing chat rooms via Telegram to watch women get physically assaulted by men and to enter these chat rooms they had to pay in bitcoin. A lot of these chat rooms still exist and the ones controlling it are making a huge profit in bitcoin of course. I hope the authorities arrest them!

I don't think this one can be considered a scam since they're paying to get access to those "torture" private chat rooms. But yeah, crime is still a crime and such act should be punished accordingly.

yep agree, there are lots of underground illegal market operating in bitcoin transactions taking advantage of its anonymous transaction feature

yeah so we can't really just blame it on south Korea or saying this country is doing this because all does this, and you can't know where people are from who are visiting such things

This thread sin't about to pin all the blame on South Korea or anything like that. It's simply a news thread about how criminals there are accepting bitcoin to proceeds with their wrongdoings.

I think China still is the country with most Bitcoin scams, just like that Plus Token scam, which costing investors millions of dollar out of their pockets.

I belive there are more hackers in countrie such as Russia, North Korea or China. On top of that, sometimes hackers in these countries are hired by their governments to hack other country system.

yes that's true every country has their own hackers and most internet attacks and cybercriminels are coming from china and russia, because North korea are good with USA

My mistake I mixed up between north korea and south korea I always do this, yes North korea is the enemy of USA you are right they are firends with China

there is no such thing called private data in China, their citizens moves are all followed by the government, it's really sad they don't have a privacy in their country

I also saw similar news online about China hackers .you no China is the no 1 country in terms of technology. So I think they could create sopthisicated gadget and do any thing they want to do.

can't really say that no.1 country in terms of technology . hard to really say that as america too have these tons of advance technological stuffs
