I have noticed that there aren't many applications that actually do accept the lightning network however I hope that it becomes a lot more prominent in the future because it does offer lower transaction cost which is the most important when it comes to the use of cryptocurrency.

I kinda researched about lightning network awhile ago it's like 3 people where 2 of them wants to make a transaction then the other person is just used for confirmation if the other party is to be trusted and he gives the go then the transaction is a go, kinda hard to explain it

The people have been given free hand to trade on bitcoin. So, a larger transaction volume around bitcoin on the lightening network is expected.

That's not always the case, lightning network has already been here for a while, but still why didn't it even got popular if it solves the issue of transaction speed and fee? , it's kinda like upgrading transaction fee and speed on hand with downgrading the security of the network

There are tons of legit and scam free platform out there though even before bitcoin became legal in el salvador, probably just that it got more popularity just because of the legalization

The government played a huge role in making bitcoin popular in el Salvador when it legalized the use of crypto and this in turn boost the morale of its citizens. Now that the app is very popular i think almost all sectors in the country will start transacting businesses wit it. this is really good for the country.

It is right and supposing for them to use this app because they really need a lightening network that will solve the issue of delay in bitcoin transaction

Definitely, and what is good about the lightning network as well is that there is a massive reduction in the transaction fees as well which actually then promotes the use of bitcoin as a currency.

Do you know of any cryptocurrency wallets that actually accept this method of payment? I have been trying to find A reputable wallet that utilizes the lightning network however I have not been able to find one as yet.

Lightening network can only work among lightening network .they can't send to other network. There are some in play store but am not yet confident with them as they are still new and haven't gotten trust.

This is the same thing as well that I noticed when I searched for lightning wallets on the Google Play store. It would be good if the current wallets such as bitpay actually had to integrated into the system as well.

Yeah , for now I won't advise you to download those wallet , let us wait for the popular ones to integrate it into their system .

Also there are web wallets that allows you to Signup with a single web URL.and fully secured decentralized wallet
