BetterDiscord is an unofficial, fan made Discord client that's enhanced with a number of features that the normal client doesn't have. For starter, you must pay for a Nitro subscription to use animated emojis or the exclusive ones, with BetterDiscord you can pick from tens of thousands of animated and exclusive emojis for free. They sourced the huge chunk of the emojis directly from Twitch.tv and several other sources. BetterDiscord also allows you to edit and make your own theme or skin through a bit of CSS. Not only, that you can also install a variety of third-part plugins and add-ons that other people make for this app, making it more customizable than the regular discord client. The software is licensed under MIT license, and the source code is available on Github.
