1. Signup JVZOO

2. Apply as Seller it's free, list at least 1 product is also free.

3. The ads must be product base and it will automatically appear in Ad Widget Creator.

well,it doesn't really matter if they are pirated or not since he'll use them just to bring traffic, him owning a paid app is another story, as long as ads appear for people that's fine
also not everyone can get his app approved on playstore, that might be the issue

in my opinion, I think you can create a blog or a site and monetise it with google adsense and also do shortner links when someone download the app, but here you can earn only when they download it

If your app is good enough then you can require a membership fee from your user's example like remove ads, upgrade or you can try affiliate marketing or sponsorship. The best way to make profit to collect user's friendly data, those will help you to get some benefits
