Are you hiding your gambling activity from your loved ones, family or so?
Or are you being 100% open about gambling?

:Wideyed:

I have no personal experience with serious gambling. I have done it for fun like playing Bingo or some card games with cash value with friends and family. There is very little money involved there.
But yes, most of the serious gamblers try to hide it from their friends. Gambling can become an addiction and disorder. Families are mostly against it, but the gamblers find it tough to give away. Many families have been ruined because of this addiction.

Who says gambling is not legitimate means of making money. The businesses are registered and licensed by the government agencies. They pay tax to government, so they are legitimate business..
It's very much legitimate in most of the countries..It seems that some religious countries ban it because it's against their religious belief.
It's an irony that goverment will have awareness through ads and social messages to discourage people from gambling. But then they do give licence to such businesses and even take tax. It's just like smoking and drinking. Awareness is run by government but then cigarette and alcohol are not banned as they bring a lot of revenues.

Some countries and beliefs are against gambling activities. It is in countries where they are legal that government allow such organizations to be registered. However, someone shouldn't take gambling as substantial Means of earning or livelihood
I would not gamble if the rules in my country prohibited it. I am a law abiding citizen and would not go against the laws of my country because I want to gamble.
Since gambling is legitimate business In my country I will always be open about it..

Gambling have existed for decades in a very legalised form in our country. Lottery tickets is still a big charm in our population across the economic group. There are some forms of gambling that is not legalized here like sports betting on a professional level. Where one even goes to influence the players and teams. Such illegal gambling is still carried on by people. And they don't come out about it. They keep it as secret as they might be reported and face legal wrath.

I stay away from all forms of gambling. Gambling can change your life for the better or worse and it is this adrenaline rush with gambling that many people seek. I am not that kind of a desperate kind of guy, so I stay away from this.

Some people enjoy that adrenaline rush. It gives them momentary enjoyment and fun. And many a times an escape from the reality of the world. Sometimes people tend to turn to gambling and other kinds of addiction during emotional turmoil. It works as a distraction for them.

I don't think that there are emotional attachment to gambling. Many people indulge in them during depression to help them pass some time. But those who are addicted to it can not do without it. I usually engage in gambling when I want to and not being addicted to it..

Lol, this got me really laughing very hard, when I was very committed and serious with my gambling activities, I used to be very secretive, you would never detect that I do gamble, but what was actually helping me was that I don't go to que up in bet shops, I rather analyse and book my games online using my mobile phone.

I bet responsibly and I don't have to hide anything from anyone. My family knows that I gamble and they cajole me sometimes about it. My gambling life is not a secret because it is not damaging to family and friends.
