As reported by various news outlets, Apple, the American-based phone and PC giant has decided to remove all chargers from their new iPhones packages. The company claim they have done so in order to reduce waste products from their company. A lot of people are understandably getting imitated by this, since now they have to buy those chargers separately, adding to the overall cost. Some critics even say that this move is not for the sake of environment - it's just for the sake of extra profit generated by charger sales.

I recently bought, I mean less than a month ago, a Xiaomi Android smartphone, which is not, however, an Iphone, of which I have never owned one. Well the charger was in the box. So I see that after a year from the publication of this thraed, when Apple started to no longer provide this accessory, the other non-Iphone smartphone brands did not follow this principle.
But i'm sorry, shouldn't everyone respect the law, if this is?

This is something that has been creating a lot of debate in the mind of so many people. If apple is claiming that they are not going to be putting charges because of the impact on the environment then it is going to be only for ready for the smartphone companies are also doing the same so that they are going to be following the same rule of law. Some of these business strategies are just imposed within putting into consideration the concerns from consumers.I really think having a charger seperate from the phone when purchasing on first hand disadvantages the consumer. Unless prices will be cut on the phone to compensate that desperate. The reason of environmental concerns does not substantiate rather they should have found a way to reduce wastes from other means. Such tramp up reasons really.

Well, if other companies besides the aforementioned Apple follow the same principle, so only in this case, this could now represent a step forward, towards a drastic reduction of environmental pollution and this Is very important.
As for example here in Italy, plastic plates have been alteady banned.

I don't really welcome the idea of removing chargers from newly bought iPhones because this is going to create room for some traders to be producing fake chargers which is not nice at all though it will another means that the company will use in making money by selling the chargers separately but I don't really welcome the idea.

Well, buying an original Apple charger, rather than a fake one, we consumers will have to pay attention to this if we want to avoid.
However as I said in my previous post, this represents only "a drop", compared to what they could do for the environment!

This is really so sad aтв disappointing because as the time goes on, apple implements worse and worse changes, which takes the prices and the quality. I mean we pay lots of money and get a box with nothing in it. Right now no headphones, no charger, just a phone itself and a cable. And also those troubles with forgeting iCloud password. Omg, when I forgot it for the first time I went to apple support and it took me a day to fix that. Now in case of something, I use Locked to owner services, because I don't have even to go out in a store/service to unlock my phone.

I really cant understand who is still buying this scrap, when it is without charger now. What will happen if you huy the phone and cant find charger in your city ? This is just really disappointing because for few bucks,they cut the charger. They firstly cutted earphones,secondly charger... What a waste

Actually, I have heard about this a very long time ago but I don't really support this judging from the fact that this is coming from a big and reputable company.
I really see this as an act of selfishness as it's very obvious that they want to earn more through splitting it's contents. I also heard that the phone battery doesn't last for a very long time as most people mock iPhone users about taking power banks with them wherever they're going to.

That is because of their super class camera ; which no doubt is a great one and that actually requires taking lot of power and battery consumption spent in this way ; but about the chargers ; that's how the rich get super rich ; they first entice you to their things ; and when you are addicted ; they start dictating their rules and terms on you indeed .

Personally I have no problem with this cause I do not make use of any apple product. I still do not understand how selling chargers separately would help reduce waste, because the bottom line is that they still make chargers, rather they would even waste more since they would have to create a separate package for their chargers. This would also create room for people to make fake chargers and sell to unsuspecting customers.

A person who has the purchasing power to buy a phone can also bûy a phone charger easily as well , only the thing the company wants it the increase in their profits , so that is why they are calling for the idea , no other company did this way and other than apple iPhone

I don't have an apple phone, well, I don't have enough money to afford it. But, I don't think it is a good idea, for sure the company will gain profit from it, but for customers, well they have to pay extra money to get the charger because it is vital, without it the phone id of no use. It will also give the opportunity for the trader to copy.

Yeah, I think it's just their strategy to earn more money. But I have thought about it and I became even more confused. I mean, what's the point of separating the phone charger from the phone pack when they can just leave it there and probably add the price for the charger to the cost of the phone.

Or maybe they just want to be recognized as the online telephone company that doesn't include their charger to their phone pack. Well, it's all their business anyways.

I totally call off the decision to separate a charger from a mobile phone as very inhumane action , they are just trying to make sure people have to beg them to add chargers with their product package ?
I guess they have just witnessed some inflation too ; and want to prepare for the future. that's the only reason I guess for the things happening and developing ATM .
