I think it must be activated or use your Credit/Debit card instead but be careful because they may suspend your account after the purchasing to make sure that you are the real owner of that card .. They will ask you many questions about the name of that card owner and his address... etc.

I am not sure if that would work. Godaddy has different payment system, and it varies (i.e different countries with different payment method). They accept paypal (verified) from other countries, paypal + skrill from other countries, paypal + skrill + credit card from other countries, and credit card only from other countries etc.

Use credit card if you don't have a verified paypal, however be sure that your account would be blocked immediately after purchase. But once you prove that you are the owner, they will unlock it.

Weird thing though. Upon changing the currecy, the price, as in the number, didn't change at all. I went with USD instead of EUR and got it for slightly cheaper that way. I should've tried some cheaper currency now that I think about that...

Actually, the code works for first domain registration only with godaddy.

This is cheap enough for newbies like me to take advantage of and start blogging to find out how far one can go with earning through blogging, paying $15 after a year blogging with great income wouldn't be much of s problem.
