I've been thinking of dedicating a few minutes a day to earning bing search credits. You can ear about 30credits daily (I think more, depends on how much time you want to spend on it) and when you get to 525 you can get a 5$ amazon gift card?

I have never heard about Bing Rewards and just checked it in Google found that that feature is not available for Indians. I think Bing allows only for US people whatever they want to share revenue except the advertising is available for Worldwide people.

@hg088 From which Country you are and did you received any payment from them?

It isn't worth it like it used to be. It's just slightly more than what you can get from Inbox Dollars and other paid searches, but they are so restrictive and take back their rewards on a whim that they're no longer worth doing even in passing for free time anymore to me (I live in the US and used their service, and they disabled/re-enabled/disabled/re-enabled my account over things their system thought I was doing while just searching with them instead of Google, and I got tired of it).

I understand that some people do try to game the system and use things to do that, but I wasn't. I just figured I would use it to search with, but because I type a lot and am fast when I search, they thought I was a bot! I was like screw this. If Bing is going to do the typical Microsoft route of controlling people and even what they search and how they search if they don't like the speed that you look for things at, then there's no sense in giving them any of your time.

Even though it's gone down a lot (a LOT) these past few years, Swagbucks is still better than Bing Rewards or any of the other alternatives out there if you're going to do something like that. The only one that seems to rival them right now realistically is InstaGC and (maybe) Giftcard Hulk. There's a few others here and there, but they aren't much more reliable than Bing Rewards is. If you want to do searches and get paid for it, Inboxdollars does this very slowly and Swagbucks does.

Between all of these, you're better off with Swagbucks, since they have the most places and have been more dependable than any of the others for rewards.

Bing will find any and every excuse that they can not to pay you if they can.

I am signed up to it so that any searches I do get credited. But I certainly don't think it would be worth sitting there deliberately searching random stuff just to get the points. As previously mentioned, the points needed for many of the rewards have gone up. But as a reward for something I am doing anyway... sure, why not. I redeem it for hulu credit whenever I have enough.

I wish this system was worldwide, it seems like a great thing to attract new "customers" to the Bing platform. Hopefully, they will take an interest in the European countries as well. Till then, I google everything!

@moneyman
I think Inbox dollars was a PTC site long back, but not sure as heard the name in GPF forums or somewhere. Getting paid for search is a fraud system, but if they are rewarding for search then it would be another thing.
I don't think they will be for worldwide as seen what they did with Bing Publisher program.

@SirJoe
It's easy to cheat the system, get an account, and a payment for someone who resides in US. My questions are there aren't any more making money methods than that Bing Searches?

Yes, the pay is not that great at all. The only way it would really be of value is if you had a way of getting it sent to another country somehow where the exchange rate was huge. It is only like $20 every 2 months even if you searched every day and did other things on their site. Swagbucks and others have search (I think there is one called iRazoo), but they all would take such a long time, whether you do them honestly or not, that I'm not sure they would be worth it unless you had a way to make it worth your while to.

I agree, there are better ways to make money instead of trying to cheat the system and running the risk of not receiving your earnings on justifiable grounds. If you live in the US on the other hand it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

Do any of you use Bing? It's a great little search engine that is really underrated.
Yes, Google may be better, but Google doesn't pay you for your searches does it? No.

You pretty much get paid points for your searches (and there's also some offers you can do too, like viewing a video or clicking a link, to make more points) and then those points can be redeemed for gift cards or sweepstakes entries. You can also earn bonus points for using the Edge browser, but I don't like the browser so I don't take them up on that offer. :p

There's gift cards to Sephora, Amazon, and Burger King, just to name a few. Personally, I use my points for Amazon gift cards. I've been a member since around November 2015 and I've already been able to get two $5 Amazon gift cards (proof here). As you level up, the cost of rewards become cheaper, which is a pretty nice perk.

Overall, I definitely think it's worth it to switch to Bing.

This sounds good to me because I use Bing anyway. I'm interested in getting Amazon gift cards as there is no Burger king in my area. How long would it take to get a 5$ Amazon gift card by using the Bing search engine?

It just depends on how much you use it. As stated in my original post, it took me from November to March, 4 months, to get two $5 Amazon gift cards. So if you use it regularly, make at least 150 searches a month, and click on the offers, then you'll get the gift cards in the same amount of time. You'll get them even quicker if you can refer people.

Just gonna point out that it's HILARIOUS Bing is so underused that they have to PAY people to use it.

That being said this sounds like some easy extra cash. Probably wort while in the long run

There is an app called YABRB on the google play store that allows you to automate the process. I have never attempted to do this, but apparently people are able to make some decent money doing this. Good Luck.

I've heard a lot about Bing rewards, the only bad thing is it takes you a while to get those 5$ giftcards, you can invest this time in something else to earn more than 5$ in this period !

This is an important milestone for Bing as it attempts to capture a bigger market share in terms of search engine results. Bing has also installed a new feature that improves on the relevance of its search engine results. I have used Bing in the past on mobile phone platforms and its social media search results are much better due to its contracts with Facebook and Twitter.

Is this only available in the US? I'm in the UK and I'm trying to access it but it says it's not available in my region.

Is there a similar scheme for non-US users? Or a way around this, such as a firewall or something? It sounds like incentive enough to use Bing over Google, shame it's limited to US only. Sounds a bit strange limiting their promotion like this.

It doesn't take that long actually. I mean if you already use the internet a lot, and make a lot of searches every month, then it's not a lot of work to use the Bing search engine instead of the Google one or whatever else anyone uses. If you're making searches on the internet anyway, why not earn some money from it instead of getting nothing from other search engines? It just kind of makes sense to use it.
