notifications are actually a good thing to let your users up to date with whatever new in your website, do you think that the users interact with them ?

I believe that notifications could help users to keep up to date on news (even daily), inherent to your website. But nevertheless I believe that most users, the first time they enter any site just to understand how it works, usually tend to disable them.
Most times there could be certain confusion and they actually disable them ,just so they could be more cautious so that they won't accept notification from intrusive ads and mistake it for the platform they are visiting ,that's the reason you see that most actually don't even lay concern on them and disable it ,they feel they need to be more careful when it comes to these

However, I believe that it is right to enable notifications only and exclusively on the few sites which we are really interested in.
Moreover, there are also cookies to be managed by enabling or disabling by depending on those what we find useful or not.

Yeah to me I don't accept notification in every site it's actually selected ,I don't want that much notification that will make my email address too full with promotion and others ,and that's the reason I creates another email just incase I want to the promotion I am willing to do ,I will definitely find it more easier to do that's part of the reason

You know that lately, me too I'm doing the same thing as you. I am tired all days to find in my gmail, a lot of correspondence, where most of this is not interesting to me.
So I redirect everything to an alternative email address which I rarely access.

Once the email are just too much and unbearable for me ,I think I just take the easier route of deleting them to avoid more of them and making my email box bulky for me to sort out things ,and most times on notifications when they ask for phone number ,I alleged just bypass easily because I don't know if it could be used to send disturbing messages tho

Well, talking about the phone number, that, with permission but before I enter it, I have to be sure to accept whatever I'm doing at my will!
Otherwise I would hear my cell phone ringing all the time, as has already happened in the past! That's something truly tormenting !!

Exactly it's tormenting and hard to stop ,unless the person decided to block the line ,but despite that the phone number could be used to carry out scams and others ,so if I see the portal of filling my phone number ,I will.just ignore so fast and do other things that I am doing , and use the email address I know is not a personal one

Well, despite it all nowadays, through our mobile devices and others, especially for commercial purposes, they know a lot about us, including preferences, travel, shops visited, etc.
You see, mistake was mainly to make my phone number visible on Facebook for many years!! 👎 👎

The majority of visitors on any website are the so called 'lurkers' who rarely interact with your website's content. They simply read or grab what they wanted and then close the tab, so I think notifications are not that important on a website. Most websites don't even have a notifications system.

Indeed, my friend. 👍
In fact, I prefer sites where they don't even ask to enable notifications. Otherwise, I always reply: "No, Thanks!".
You see, the first time I mistakenly enabled notifications for a website, I didn't even know how to disable them!

You can use ad blocker like Ublock Orgin to block even notifications on any site. It's a browser extension that you can directly install on your browser. It's small but powerful, so check it out. Not only that, but it's free, by the way. Most people nowadays use ad blocker, and Ublock is one of the best for Firefox.

First of all, I thanks dear friend for suggesting this extension which would be important for me to not to be disturbed every time from the pop-up that often asks to enable notifications!
But I must tell you that I do not use Firefox as a primary browser, but Google-Chrome. For this I kindly ask you, if it works, even on such browser.
Thank you.

Yeah, I believe Ublock Origin extension is also available on Google's Chrome through its Web store. Give Firefox a try. If you care about privacy and don't want to get bombarded with ads and tracking, then Firefox is way better than Chrome. Plus, it's free and faster, with less bloat.

You see, my friend. Many of my friends and acquaintances, in fact, prefer to use Firefox rather than Google Chrome as the default browser. I am used to Chrome, however I have seen that after all, once set up, Firefox works pretty much at the same way as the other.
Thank you for your suggestion.

That's it ,I think even before signing up on Facebook I don't use my business phone number ,but the spared one , because I don't want to start recieving unnecessary call ,and I think I can use email address to signup on Facebook ,there are basically a lot of options available to make use of when it comes to things like this

Notification offers more in the sense that it keeps your audience abrest to get update when release and also stimulate and motivate you to do more,if I know that when ever I release a content I am certain of a thousand views,it will spur me to do more and work harder.

Yes, it is,
A well-targeted and executed web push notification campaign has the potential to boost conversion rates, remarketing campaigns, and overall site traffic at a much higher rate than other more commonly used marketing tactics.

That is very true. When your Audience have their notification bell on, they get updated whenever you post anything new. Which will enable them to view and see what you are offering them this time. When so many people get updated and respond to you that way, it will for sure motivate you to do more.

To be very honest it's the first thing I'm going to say something like this for the past years I have been engaging in blogging. This is only possible when you are engaging in YouTube. You simply ask people to subscribe to your channel and turn on the notification button. This will allow them to receive alert whenever you post up a new video on your YouTube channels. I am waiting for others to comment perhaps I'm a discovered way of doing this on my own websites too.
