In most cases Africa is sidelined in many developmental issues and technology,to the extent that almost if not all countries are categorised as tier 3 or "third world".Now is this the case with what it offers in profits to the developed countries? COULD IT BE TRUE THAT THE LEAST REVENUE(GDP) GENERATED BY THESE TOP CLASS WORLD WIDE COMPANIES COMES FROM AFRICA VIS A VIS IS AFRICA THE LOWEST PERFORMING ECONOMY IN THE WORLD?

African leaders must assume responsibility for exploiting the wealth of the continent of Africa to serve and advance Africa's interests
It's true that African leaders should take responsibilities of exploiting the natural resources of our land. It's disgusting to see that Africans would allow the Western countries to explore our natural resources mostly for there own advantage. This is the gospel truth and the example is seen in the Nigeria oil exploration. Our leaders are clueless and that's the truth.

Will I call it clueless? No. They know what they are doing and they know the right thing. They only care for themselves. The fact is that they know we are some indigenous people that can even help in the areas they do ask the white to help. But they don't render ther service of the indigenous people because they want to have much more money to their pocket which may only happen if they employ the service of the white.

The basic reason behind this is because we believed that anything done by the western people is always perfect and accurate. We never believed in our own and that's the major reason why I love China. It would go extra mile to ensure that it promote its own over foreign goods.

That's the truth. It would amaze you that bit all China but all the Asian countries colonized by British don't always do their things the way British are doing them and this is working for them. They are even developing at the same pace. But African copies everything without minding the workability in their countries. That's why we always jettison our own ways of doing things to how the white do theirs.

The comfortability and compatibility isn't considered in Africa and that's why I mentioned that we are clueless and we don't really know want is good for us and our economy. We copy cheapishly without considering the long-term effect on our economy. This is basically the things we need to address as a nation inorder to move our country forward.

To build Africa nation, we need iron hand as you have said. There is no rule of law and constitutionalism. And this is because we lack visionary leaders. We only have those that care about the moment and not the ones that see the future. Form the project they embark on, you would know. What they care about is the power and not how to use it. And the followers too are too passive to react.
I pity the students of law because the African judiciary is been bastardised. What are you going to counsel in this type of settings.
I am not innocent but if i fail to do my bid, let me face whatever penalty that comes.
The constitution guiding us has been bent and faulted to a point that it has no value again.
I once suggested Bible/Koran to be dropped at oath taken... The Gods of the land should be used.

You've always felt really bad with the politicians, we've had chats about such discussion severally in this forum. To be frank the politicians here in Africa especially in our own country made things look worse for it's citizens. Africa is great but the politicians aren't futuristic, or thinking about bringing excellent development in Africa.
My brother am really pained. I have heard, seen and known politicians for years and nobody (no Jupiter) will change my view towards them.
These guys are there to represent it's constituent in whatever level of government but that is not what we see as the time progresses.
All of them rubber stamped to the last. Check at the decisions they make, it is of no use to the common man.
I am sick and tired of the happenings. Salaries, pensions are not been paid.
The education sector, health sector NOTHING!.
New Testament spoilt Africa.
I lost my Lecturer of Statistics yesterday due to sickness that could have been treated with 33months ow ed.

Hmmm

This is why they say that power is able to change people because when they are in that position where they ave so much power there is a lot of people that actually choose to take advantage of their situation and in doing so they will cause the harm to many people that are in the country.
The harm is already done. I don't know how we will retrack back to get it straight. It pains me to say that I come from here but when i Look at my black skin i have a second thought.
I know there are true business men that are rich but the more number of rich men we have now are governmental influenced. The money meant for the masses are pushed to this men to be living luxury.
At this insecurity will not end till we get it right.

A Politicians son once gave 10 of his friends 1Million each on his birthday for spending. Do you know how many hundreds of person 10M will bail for days?.

You are right. No one takes the western religions serious. Generally, maybe because it is even alien to us. The laws only apply to the poor and the less privilege. I have a former chairman of pension commission in my country that was sentenced to prison and was still laughing. I have seen a convict that won a senatorial election in my country as well. The masses don't see these people as thieves but we are quick to stone who stole in our farms just because of hunger.

Africa as a continent is not been seen as a top continent among it's counterparts. The reason for this is not far fetched in that the leaders we have in this part of the world are corrupt ones. They literally do not have good plans for the citizens and the country as a whole. Africa will continue being under this western until we change the system

I am very much deep saddened with the loss of your statistics lecturer, even though I don't know him or her. The manner that caused the death is very much emotional and again it's a shame to the state government not to have paid the deceased of it's salary. That's the bad governance we are talking about. Had it been they met all the criterials required of them, the system wouldn't have been corrupt like the way it is. Their is nothing seems working in our dear country Nigeria, politicians are simply our problem, they aren't meeting up with the demands.

I think there is a mutual benefits between the African countries and the western world.
We have the natural resources and gift of nature in abundance which we can export when demands nare made just as they have the technical know how, financial capabilities and finished product that we need.

The concern that I have when it comes to discussions of this nature is that a lot of people are actually thinking that it is necessary to judge people based on how they look and the colour of their skin however I disagree completely with this because there are so many people with potential that are not being looked at because of this.

Without a stop in corruption it wouldn't be possible for African countries to see light and start seeing massive development. Corruption is simply like the darkness, any country in awe support of corruption doesn't grow in development that's exactly what our politicians have done, they have soaked themselves into it.
Corruption is not something that can actually be stopped because no matter how you try to address the issue is always going to be people that are trying to take advantage of the system and in so doing it will be very difficult to address moving forward.

I understand that corruption can't be eradicated permanent in the world. But at least it should be reduced, the way it is constantly practiced here in Africa is pathetic, making it look though, we are cursed here. Whereas the so-called politicians are making it look that way, inflicting misery to innocent people.

In our country nowadays when there is a good leadership I don't think there will be any need of been worried over our neighbouring county over powering us, because sometimes the food and some of the goods are been transferred from here.

I definitely do agree that it should be reduced and if there is a more secure system that can be used in order to keep track of all of the money that is within a country then I think that it will reduce the corruption that will considerably and hopefully the blockchain technology is able to provide this.

The blockchain tech have really helped us to earn, and forget about the bad system of government in my own country. Some African countries are far better than my own country in terms development and empowerment of citizens through many avenues that generated money through hard work.

I do completely agree with you when it comes to the blockchain technology because there's a lot of countries that are actually starting to utilise it in order to share information Across the Border in a way that can be very safe and secure without having to actually worry about the sensitive nature of the information.

Yes, what you said is correct. The blockchain tech have really aided lost of citizens off their burden of unemployment. You can see people utilizing different ways of earning money from different crypto projects like the NFTs, staking of coins, trading spot, futures, lending out their coins for profit, joining mining pool/rig to earn portion of rewards for the equipments you contributed towards mining of a particular coin.
