Yes I have known about it for a long time and there are many benefits of using it transaction are though taking about 10 minutes now but the fact is that it has no fees almost makes it a wonderful option for transacting crypto actually .

You are right it is better to yse anc it is 2nd fastest is comparison of speeds when sending a transaction for example if xrp takes about 1 sec for a transaction then it takes few minutes only the network is getting higher so transaction time is actuallu increasing now .

I used it for the first time about 6 months ago, before I always used the normal Bitcoin network but whenever it gives me the option to use Lightning I use it, for example in my Muun Wallet and in my trusted exchange Kraken exchange.

Yes there are many exchanges that accept the lightning network now bitfinex was the first one to integrate it and now paxful supports and allows deposits and withdrawals via it as well so good option to save fees money actually .

Lightning Bitcoin has a much more faster processing speed than Bitcoin and this is because the Bitcoin blockchain which is more renowned, has now become inundated with numerous transactions almost all the time, which can cause delays

Yes you are right firstly thr fees was fixed at 1 satoshi per transaction but now it has become upto 2% from the transaction some sites are taking 2 satoshi per transaction while some wallets charge 1% almost for an transaction.

Well I did not know lightning network until recently, I mean in its operation, commissions and speed, that's why the first time I used it and I was used to the slow and expensive transactions of the conventional Bitcoin network I was a little fascinated, the fact is that I do not use many exchanges only kraken and coinbase, and I think that so far only Kraken of these two has it, there are also few Bitcoin wallets that have this functionality.
