FluidStack is a cloud platform that serves websites from a network of consumer devices (instead of large data centres). We save websites money, and put unused hardware to good use.

We are looking for beta users to run FluidStack nodes. This means installing the software and leaving it running in the background. The software will detect when your device isn't being used, and then it will use a small amount of your bandwidth and CPU to test our network and serve web content.

The requirements are a good internet upload speed, a Windows desktop computer, and uPnP. We pay between $5-$50 per month (more for better internet speeds) to have the node running. If accepted, we guarantee a flat monthly payment amount.

I use my mobile hotspot to connect my pc to the internet and i have limit of 60GB 4G data per month, so how can i run fluidstack through my mobile internet?

You should be fine as most bandwidth Fluidstack has used in my case is 100MB

I have given full permission to fluidstack in the firewall.

you have to enable UPnP /whatever that is/ on your router. But if you're using mobile hotspot - maybe it's not possible because mobile networks have a lot of restrictions and not so many settings that you can change on your phone..

Isn't there any way to give full UPnP permission, my smartphone is rooted so I can change system settings if anybody will tell me how to do it from system it will be very helpful.

Why dont you just give your computer wifi? not via the hotspot but just via a normal wifi router.

In my place normal broadband costs 2k for 100GB data/month and 4g costs 200rs for 60GB/month

Hi, i am running Windows 10 on my laptop, i downloaded the Fluidstack installer, tried installing it by double clicking the setup.exe only to be shown a message as follows:

"This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher."

Any solutions?

We only support 64bit systems at the moment!

They support Windows 7 and upwards but @kona1 got it to work with Vista

I just want to ask if you're accepting now atleast 5mbps internet connection? Because until now I still having a problem uprading my internet speed because my subcription to them will going to change a lot which is I don't like because of some issue there. Anyway I tried to log in again on your website and it said that my account is not activated but if I remember correctly I'm already activated before :)

Hi there. I'm posting here as I'm having trouble installing FluidStack Node and I could use some help with it as I haven't been able to find the solution to my issues anywhere else.

I'm getting the following error when I try to install FluidStack Node:

But according to my router's web page, UPnP is enabled and has been that way by default:

I've even forwarded the required port, 65112:

Yet in the error message in the first screenshot, I can neither proceed by clicking "Try Again" or "I have forwarded port 65112". When I click on the latter, I get this message:

I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
