DGC (Digital Currency Group) has shut down its wealth management subsidiary HQ Digital.

HQ Digital is a $3.5 billion company, its closure will not send a good sign to the crypto or trading world.

DGC is also the parent company of bankrupt crypto broker Genesis, with whom Gemini Exchange is in a financial dispute, and Gemini blames DGC.​

Interestingly, crypto news publishing platform CoinDesk is also a subsidiary of DGC.

Another one down. It's unfortunate that crypto projects that raised millions of dollars and have customer funds of over billions can't account for the money. What did they do with the funds? Possibly an investment gone wrong.
