Mississippi state Representative Jody Steverson sponsored a bill to protect the rights of bitcoin miners.

Dannis Porter, CEO of the NPO Satoshi Action Fund, helped the state committee understand bitcoin mining.

The committee was satisfied, and now they have cleared the bill, which has been sent to the house.

This bill will help Bitcoiners be able to mine bitcoin in Mississippi without worrying about legal action.

Probably this state representative Jody Stevenson, himself very interested in accepting such a project. There may be several reasons for this. Either there is a bitcoin factory registered to relatives, or they made such a good padarok that it is impossible to refuse.

This is really commendable and may be a plus to the crypto world in general. This will surely motivate the interest of the people into mining. Definitely, I wont be surprised if cryptocurrency as well is legalized in this country.

I don't have information on the specific bill you mentioned, but it's possible that it seeks to provide protections and/or benefits for Bitcoin miners in the state of Mississippi. Such a bill could aim to provide a favorable regulatory environment for Bitcoin mining operations, potentially by offering tax incentives or by preventing burdensome regulations that would make it difficult to operate profitably.
However, without more information on the specific details of the bill, it's difficult to say what exactly it seeks to accomplish. It's also worth noting that while individual states can pass laws regarding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the federal government still has a significant role in determining the overall regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies in the United States.

I think the poster has already said what the bills is all about. Though, the best is to wait for the implementation of such a bill. This will surely help us to know whether it will affect crypto positively or negatively.

The bills have a decisive influence on the development of the crypto industry as a whole. For example, the adopted legislative regulations allow the cryptocurrency to gain recognition and recognition in international law. This creates a more secure and transparent infrastructure for enabling transactions using cryptocurrencies. The bills also help people discover and manage their cryptocurrency assets, as well as provide additional rights, obligations, and protections.

There may be intentions behind but well the important thing is the step taken, because intentions I think there will always be, maybe it is because he sees it as a good way to collect taxes on the mining industry, or they can be other reasons or simply to win votes, but as I said the important thing is that there are always coherent people or who want to do things differently, If not just look at Miami Mayor Francis Suarez who is very much in favor of crypto

Let's hope that this is also one of the starting points for the recognition of cryptocurrency in general. Although I strongly do not believe that its only his own decision. Such bills are not passed alone and just like that.

Yes, I do not think it is only his decision, but I think that in the United States the states have a certain sovereignty and can decide certain rules in their states without so much general concession, but well of that I am not sure because I do not know well the laws of the country, if someone knows better can confirm it

There, basically, each state has its own laws, but in fact, for the purposes of national security, they differ little from each other. And I do not think that such a global decision was made alone, without anyone's consent.

To legalize cryptocurrency mining in the state. The bill now moves forward to more lawmakers for a vote, after which it will await a signature from Governor Tate Reeves before it becomes law.

If any activity does not affects a state of a country it should be allowed for the benefit of its residents and especially if that activity can bring in tax which can be spend on the well being of the people and public then it should be promoted too indeed .

From precisely. From mining, if it is allowed at the level of legislation, only profit comes, After all, these are really taxes and everything else. Also a big PR for those who promote such projects, legitimizing them.

If there is enough electricity available and no harm from the activity the miners should be allowed to make sure that they do not have to worry and positive steps Like this one should always be appreciated by community so that there is more growth indeed actually

For example, how it is done in our country. Cryptocurrency and mining permission to use. Just pay taxes and pay electricity in full. Unfortunately, not everyone can do it because of the cost of electricity.

Yes you are right. Without more detailed information about the specifics of the bill, it is difficult to pinpoint its goals. However, it is possible that creating a favorable regulatory environment for bitcoin mining companies could be one of the possible goals of the bill. In addition, tax breaks or relaxation of certain burdensome rules that may make it difficult to make a profit could also be included in the goals of the bill. However, in order to accurately determine the goals of the bill, it is necessary to study its specifics and the context in which it was proposed.
