Anybody that already tried this website? It says you will only just do task such as transcription through handwriting and you will get paid through paypal.

But it has a mixed reviews in trust pilot.

I've never heard of this site before, so I did a Google search and found a few negative reviews. Apparently, it used to be a legit paying site but seems to have stopped paying. It was just a quick search. Maybe you could do an extensive one to learn more.

I tried to do some document transcription and I thought I never getting paid for anything. Just opened my email today and there it is, I able to received some payments for some task. It's still legit.

Thanks for sharing your proof of payment, @els21 - I'm happy that the site paid you even in spite of claims that it doesn't pay anymore. These days you never know if people are telling the truth or just mounting a smear campaign against a site.

I've received $4 from labeldocs.com for transcriptions by filling out template forms. It's very easy and they pay $1 for each transcription. It does take a few days for your submitted document to be accepted or rejected and another few days for the payment to be processed.

The downside is, there are not much jobs available.

But, I have a question, hope someone can help me with it, the doc has more than 100 words but the max of words that I have to write is 100, what do I do? Do I write until I get 100 words and cut the rest of the text? I really need help, ty. (Sorry, english is not my first lenguage)

You need to write less than 100 words if that's what indicated in the instruction or else it will get rejected.

I went ahead and registered and the next day, I was shocked to find money in my Paypal account for the two jobs I'd done the day before!! So, basically you get paid as soon as a job is approved. Two of my documents have been rejected so far. But one for them was rejected because 'there was no signature' yet I DID put it on there! I was shocked and disappointed. But anyway, I really enjoy the site and wish there were a lot more jobs every day.

This one sounds like an interesting concept, I believe I saw it mentioned recently on Reddit but didn't think much of it at the time. I'm going to sign up and give this one a shot. I assume it requires printing of the document, handwriting, then scanning back in?

There are three different tasks: Transcription: Purely handwriting; Original: documents you owned (US only); and Template: requires printing.

It's really worth trying! And yes, that's what I've been doing. But a friend who doesn't have a scanner has been taking a picture of the document on her phone. It's a good site but it's also strict because I've been penalised for not putting my signature on the document even when I actually have??

I am excited by the prospect of what this site has to offer. I did join the site yesterday. It appears one of the categories is for US citizens only (I'm not, unfortunately) and that's the one that has task/job availability at the moment, right?

Oh, that's fantastic to hear!! I also joined but I'm from Botswana, not the US and I'm able to do some tasks there - so it's definitely open worldwide. I personally prefer to do 2 out of the 3 sections. I think you could be right about the third one that requires you to scan in documents and stuff like that. I've basically avoided because 1) I feel it's too personal and 2) I think that section is probably geared towards US residents. So go right ahead and try the other two areas.

A fourth section on the site as well? I must have missed that. But I'll look for it right away. I'm really glad this site is paying and hope to earn as you all have already.

Besides being a transcriber at qa-world and participating in a few surveys (surveytime.io, for example), this freelancing stuff online still feels kind of tricky for me. Any suggestions?
