Mthuli Ncube is the finance minister of Zimbabwe and he strong supporter of cryptocurrencies, he said recently that if 30% of the Zimbabwean youth are already into cryptocurrencies Investment then cryptocurrency should be adopted or legalize in the country as his ministry is ready to yield to demands and requests on cryptocurrencies, then goes ahead to say they want to see cryptocurrencies as investment class.

Even though that our currency is centralized, there are still illegal transactions that banks cannot trace. Everything in this world has shortcut, so we just have to be as wise as those fraudster in order to achieve our aim

I know even when lots of countries are feeling very delusion around the advancement of cryptocurrency some like Zimbabwe are still looking for a way to strengthen it's progress.

And I think he's right on his thoughts. It's no longer possible to avoid cryptocurrency because even if the government should place a ban on it. There would still be ways the citizens would follow to circumvent those rules
Thsts the truth, the citizens have their way of investing in cryptocurrency now unless the person don't just want to but the ban has no effect online so crypto transactions will still be carried out. That's the truth

It is a good development that African countries are now facing their reality by tilting towards supporting crypto. Zimbabwe should be the first to legalize crypto and opt for crypto as their legal tender. This may rejuvenate their currency that has lost its value.

Yesh I'm glad we are beginning to see the need to encourage the use of crypto currency in Africa. Well, there's always a lead and I think Zimbabwe had started and hopefully others can take a clue and do same. it's about time that we all key into what the crypto world had got to offer.

Yes avoiding crypto currency in this recent day won't be easy because of the way crypto has really been helping others countries in raising revenue and everyday more people and countries are accepting it with any fear or doubting so I totally agree that it won't be easy to avoid crypto again

that's a great idea. Though they have to accept crypto in their country because the more you are banning crypto in your country the more you will lag behind than other countries. I heard that crypto is also getting unbanned in our country.

But if the economy inside the country is not good that will makes a troubles and instability to the economy and that will effect on the people inside the country .

Even countries that are less the size of Zimbabwe are already using crypto for their daily transactions so if the Zimbabwean government are avoiding crypto i know a time like this will come when they will have n option but to just accept it into their system but there should be checks and balances to protect its citizens and investors funds.

If we look at the behavior of the government of Zimbabwe from October to December, what we find is that politicians have personally made positive statements about cryptocurrencies, and nothing has been officially confirmed. Zimbabwe's currency is no more than scrap paper, so it may have to accept cryptocurrency to save on its expenses, but it doesn't want to.

This is a nice development.. atleast the government of Zimbabwe is really interested to see the future with cryptocurrency.. if cryptocurrency is adopted I don't see how this will even affect the financial institution of Zimbabwe .. over here the government consider it to be a criminal act.. but their children is abroad investing heavily in cryptocurrency.

The funny thing about this is that most of these countries that have placed restrictions on crypto, especially my very country. They have actually come to this same realization but their pride won't let them say this. Even when they are aware that more than 30% of the youths are making use of crypto, they still went ahead with their plans.
