Mthuli Ncube is the finance minister of Zimbabwe and he strong supporter of cryptocurrencies, he said recently that if 30% of the Zimbabwean youth are already into cryptocurrencies Investment then cryptocurrency should be adopted or legalize in the country as his ministry is ready to yield to demands and requests on cryptocurrencies, then goes ahead to say they want to see cryptocurrencies as investment class.

They don't have a choice,I wonder all this countries that revolt against cryptocurrency, what do they stand to gain or loose, good for Zimbabwe to atleast be in the lime light for a good reason.

More countries are yet to realize this which I Know they will soon regret joining here late. There's definitely no need boycotting crypto currency with all it's potential

I think after few years no country can avoid Cryptos even if they tried hard to prevent it , this is will be a fact between all countries that they will accept it whatever they want or not .

I agree with him that cryptocurrencies can rarely be avoided anymore. This is because so many people are already adopting them and investing through them. So it is best for governments to adopt them too.

I do agree with you mate because most of the countries that placed a ban on cryptocurrency transactions already know that their citizens are still trading cryptocurrency and it's a matter of time before they too can realize that they can't help but lift the ban

The decentralized nature of cryptocurrency have really made it more impossible for the government to carry out a perfect strict ban on cryptocurrency

This is what most of the African countries should be thinking on how to use cryptocurrency to reduce unemployment amoung the youths with proper regulations.

They are actually less concerned about while the unemployment and proverty keeps increasing ,in which crypto currency useage would have helped reduced

You're right about that mate. That's my thought on it too, the rate of unemployment have greatly appreciated and here is a way one can earn money and the government are still trying to take it away. Is everything about politics means making selfish decisions?

It's obvious that crypto currency is now known every country of which all youths have interest in investing in it. So I don't think it can be avoided anymore when many people in the country is interested in it. The government just need to look at people's interest at this point

In Zimbabwe it isn't about the citizens forcing themselves to adopt cryptocurrency, it's the government's willingness. But here in my country, the citizens are eager but the government are slowing things down. I love a government that encourages legitimate investment schemes and not blocking it from helping the citizens making livelihood through it.

This is the points. There are many countries that their citizens are interested in crypto but their governments do not allow them. Our government needs to be encouraged more so that they can consider it

The ongoing madness around cryptocurrency here in the country is a serious matter. The govt said they aren't banning crypto yet, when you tag 'crypto when sending out funds, the bank simply lock your account for such, and query the reason behind such transaction.

Really?! I never knew bank had authority to lock an account because of crypto transaction and I know this is because government has banned it. They are just lieing to let go the matter.

Yes, they recently locked a user's account from Nigeria recently, because he transacted using the tag 'crypto payment. His funds where locked indefinitely even up to this moment.

Exactly, I think they should consider the use of cryptocurrency. Although recently I learnt that there are possible illegal transactions that can be carried out through cryptocurrency because of its decentralized nature but still, I don't see it as enough reason for placing a ban on it
