instead of the regular classic donation method, where you could use only Paypal to donate to youtubers, now a lot of them put their wallet's adresses in the description of their videos so people can donate for them .
An example :

Yeah it's good since bitcoin is easier and widely used I guess they would get more donation I mean those YouTubers, well it's good to see things like this take place in relation to bitcoin

That's good . it shows that more people are supporting cryptocurrency usage .
And also that YouTube supports it too , because if they don't , they should have blocked the address from showing publicly

That is good,it shows that crypto currency is becoming legalized by the people and if it's true that the YouTubers Will be using crypto currency the will gain donation

YouTube is already accepting Crypto currencies already by this, it a way forward, I believe lots of people would be more comfortable with Crypto despite it volatile nature if the scam rate is reduced.

This is really good and it seems to be way faster to just send and that is all. Crypto is becoming a part of us now and many transactions are already been done in this method.
Yeah crypto is already becoming part of us and most country are already making it legal
Well its still the first transaction have seen where YouTube is now used for crypto donation and others

i don't see any reason in blocking the address even if youtube doesn't support it, because you can sometimes find hacking tutorials under educational purpose, the same can go for a bitcoin address, it can be shared as an example

is that now with the cryptocurrency subject many people and foundations are starting to receive their donations in cryptocurrencies. I have made some donations through the MintMe platform, this platform has served me wwell. Now i will start a entrepreneurship and monetize it. if someone wants to know more, they can inquire about this platform

yeah, especially that cryptocurrency is a worldwide thing (even if it's banned in some countries, but people are still sending and receiving it from there), when some other payment methods aren't

It's good that people can donate because it takes a lot of effort to earn descent on YouTube, it's not something that happens over night. Atleast the donations will keep them going
Yeah but most times those donations aren't just for the youtuber s ,charitable organization could make up some video and the youtuber could make it go viral so people could pay in form of bitcoin to charitable organization

True but with the recent Twitter bitcoin scam , I believe most social media platforms are becoming more careful with cryptocurrency adverts and address .

crypto always was remated to scams and hacks to be honest, now everyone who's not into the crypto world will tell you that crypto is used to buy illegal stuff from deep-web, i hope this culture disappears

Yeah there was a time I was explaining crypto to someone but the person ignored me thinking it's used for illegal things , people perception needs to change

With how some scams via You Tube platform still exists I'm afraid this feature will make it easier for scammer to execute their scam.

I just hope it isn't use for scams , because this might make YouTube want to stop this means of getting fund through crypto and many youtubers will not like it

i don't think that the scammer will be able to run away, since all of his data is stored in a gmail account that he used to open that channel, including all the ip's that he used to login+locations

That's easy to circumvent though, since you can as many gmail accounts as you want and if Google IP bans you, the ban will automatically lifted since most pc users have dynamic ip now.

i don't think that it's only a IP's matter, even some small non-popular games have other standards to detect if a user is the same or not, for example gta sa multiplayer uses GPCI for that

The scammer can run away since he could use a fake gmail account and open the channel and those IP address could be change through different ways and it makes it hard to trace
