Someone recently informed me that youtube will change its monetization policy by 2021. I tried to search on Google but I could not found any article regarding the policy but there was just a youtube video in which this news was being shown.
New Policy for youtube channel monetization consist on these requirement.

10,000 Subscribers
5,000 watch hours

Can any one tell me that either it is true or just a rumor?

I have no idea what you are talking about because I know that YouTube asks 1,000 subscribers and 4000 hours in 12 months. I mean, if you start in January, you have to complete in January next year. These are the conditions that I add and also not allowing videos for children to be published.

I also knew these conditions that 1 k subscribers and 4 k watch time is required for monitization but some share the below screen shot with me in which it was shown that 10 k subscriber and 5 k watch time is required, you can see the below mentioned screen shot.

I'm sure it's fake, because if there is something official, it would be on a popular source not only one youtube channel, 1k subs is a pain already and i don't think they would make it even worse

May be you are right and 1k subscriber is not the real pain but 4 k hours is one of most painful and difficult task to achieve but one of my friend share this screen shot with me. You may check it too.

If this was right, whoever took should share the ressources and links from where he took it, also you can see some grammatical mistakes there which means it's fake

I have also lisen the news that if a channels is monitized but if it will not have 10 k subs and 5 k watch time till January 2021 so it will be demonized automatically. But it is not the confirmed news. Lets wait for 2021.

I know it ia the current policy of youtube that 1 k subscribe and 4 k watch time hohr is required for monitization but i am talking about the future policy that it will required 10 k subscriber and 5 k watch time in hour by January 2021. sorry friend, i never hear about that.
i also never received email from youtube
or received any message when i log in on my youtube account for that 2 new rules too.
*only received email monthly from youtube about my channel progress.

this is only my guess:
maybe my youtube account is old so that 2 new rules don't affect my account at all.

or maybe you can email to youtube then asking about that 2 new rules for sure.

I have already searched my query on Google but I remained fail to find an appropriate answer but after reading all of you, it seems to be confirmed that it was just a fake news which was published by someone just to get more traffic on his video. And thanks to all of you for participating and helping me to solve my issue.

i do not think that this is true because the picture looks very awful and the way how all of that is written is not professional and does not seem that it was written by someone who works in a big company like google .

Yes it may be possible that someone used inspect element and changed the content of youtube and might have used this picture to viral their fake image.

I really doubt this 10 subs will be just too much not even 2 k, I really doubt the authenticity of this information. I had to quickly Google this but no such information posted, so let just believe it a mischievous rumor.

Hello, report the videos you find as misleading, this is not true.
People have asked it in the Google forum/support and they stated it is not true, there isn't a single official place which states it.

Yes it had been confirmed now that it was just a rumor and i could not know why the people mislead the others.

It may be fake probably and I am surprised how a rumor like this is spead ! We need to be more cautious cause nearly I was taking it seriously at first glance. Now if I work accordingly 1 year without asking anyone think what loss I may face ! Web is a dangerous place.
