Ledger is one of the most used hardware wallets and it is used because it is safe. Unfortunately recently there was was a hack on ledger that exposed the data of many of its users. Fortunately, there is now a way for ledger users to check if their account information was hacked, as someone has posted up the complete list of users whose information was hacked, as well as the nature of the information obtained, such as email address, mailing addresses or even their contact information. How do you think this might affect the user base of Ledger? A hack like this could cause the users to migrate to a different wallet that ensures and takes better safety precautions.

If hardware wallets could be hacked this just goes to show that the type of wallet you choose though may be important but that does not keep away hackers from trying. Some may have to look for another wallet and move on from Ledger.

For it to be hacked, it is the fault of those that manages ledger, for you to have such people information in your care, you have regularly carry out a security check.

I think that all wallets to a certain extent will be considered to be hackable, despite claims that it can't be hacked, because after all this is a digital currency, and any currency that is digital is likely to be hackable. Perhaps the only safe wallet moving forward is the cold wallets. Those are likely to be safer than hardware wallets.

Yeah its best to move to a better wallet after been hacked to prevent another issue from taking place , but they should include ways to secure it too

I believe all wallets can be hacked in one way or the other, whatever precaution we take.

So we have to take utmost care with our data and where we store our coins.

Periodically, we have to update our password and privacy settings.
That is very true. I also believe that the security system can be hacked anytime in most wallets. Even when changes are made, the hackers still improve on their tactics. So it is an individual's responsibility to always be careful by taking such precautions you have mentioned.

This is extremely true, because anything that is linked to an online source will have a lot of concerns and there will be vulnerabilities. I think that this is where stuff like two factor authentication can be of great help to try and minimize this.

I believe with the fear of been hacked ,we might constantly see users moving their funds to a different wallet. To be at a very saver side
