At times when I'm searching for ways to make more money online black hat sites are returned in the SERPs. Makes me wonder why they have never been penalized by Google but I digress. On some of those sites there always are people who claim they make a lot of money using unethical ways. Some steal content, others deliberately provide misleading information to get people to buy what they are selling . . . disgusting stuff.

I have to admit though I've entertained the thought of making some black hat money but I just couldn't.

What do you guys think of black hat money making?

That is crazy stuff, indeed. Fortunately, we know what a scam looks like, so we won't be easily misled. I believe these sites are just click-baity and simply trying to lure the unsuspecting. If these "Black Hat" sites are what you purport it to be, then I won't do it. I, of course, would want to make money but I have my own principles to follow. I will make money with ethical means.

I should say yes and no. The use of aggressive SEO marketing and keyword stuffing amongst other practices, is unethical although not considered to be downright illegal. This form of marketing is employed in situations where quick returns are needed. Such websites look into the short term and the risk of being banned tapers when weighed against the benefits. I would consider blackhat marketing in the short term.

Using blackhat techniques is always going to be popular because of the return you get for very little effort. As with every crime though, there's always going to be that chance you're going to get caught out, so then you have to ask yourself is it really going to be worth it if you do?

Nope, never had, never will. I have tried all types of white hat strategies in the past. And although my blog isn't the most popular one in my niche, I am happy with the traffic that I'm getting from it. I'd be a hypocrite if I said that I haven't thought about using black hat strategies because I had thought about it in the past. But a bigger part of me always says that it might jeopardise my blog and all my effort can end up being wasted. I think that black hat techniques are only for sites that you don't care about, those sites that you didn't put enough effort in. Because chances are, if you've spent time and effort in your site, you wouldn't even want to risk it being banned because of black hat strategies.

Just a few advantages of it that I could think of are:

  • Can easily make you some money
  • Can earn lots of traffics for your site in a short amount of time
And the disadvantages are:
  • Can get you banned
  • Can ruin your reputation as a writer or blogger
I just don't think those risks are worth it all...:/

Google leaves them in the SERPs for a reason... because Google knows what you see posted on those type of forums have already been protected against. If you go to a major blackhat site.. everything you will read is old information that no longer works and more than likely Google will be able to punish you for using. By putting those ´old´ blackhat techniques on the first few pages of the SERP, Google is making sure newbie webmaster thinking of going to the darkside will find nothing but bad information and will have bad results from trying to cheat.

People abuse blackhat techniques until it is caught by Google, then they post about it on those type of sites. I go to one of those sites occassionally, and I laugh because people are making posts today about stuff that hasn´t worked for 3 years... and better yet are the idiots who pay money to learn a technique that hasn´t worked for 3 years and will just get their website punished by Google.

I don't like fraudulent act,so I will never indulge in it.But different strokes for different folks if one is good with the strategy so be it.No one can decide for anyone.

Personally it really depends on your product.
I'll sure use it for CPA/PPD promise Giftcards they'll never receive for completing tasks.
-
But can't do it in a promise for a physical object or bought with stolen credit cards.
-
Google doesn't really have any authority against them, that's the dedicated bireau's problem.
When the police get's involved they themselves can't actually close such sites most of the times, but can indeed arrest the subscribbers that do major damage/crimes.

I thought about making blackhat money but never did it. and now i have made up my mind to never even think about it. Hurting people for money is not good thing.

I think blackhat marketing if worked can make you money. but usually those type of approach are short term. and it's not much worth it. and you have to take long term approach. and see what may work out for you. I personally find this type of approach not much useful.

I am of the same opinion.I have read some stuff about it on an other site from people using that technique, but I realized soon, that those techniques are not safe to use,so I even took in consideration using that marketing.

This is not an honest way. Why would you even think of it if it can put all your hard work in jeopardy. Nothing good comes easy, so if it is easy, not so good.

There are shared opinion about this method using it or not to use it.I think the persons, who are using that type of marketing they are taking huge risks, that there websites will be suspended etc,but if they are aware of that and still want to use BHM,then it is their responsibility.

Just as many have already put it. Those strategies shared on such sites are usually obsolete and cannot be copied and used anymore to make money. I once read suchlike piece success story, but the guy who shared the story honestly said that the technique no longer earned him any cash, but it did in short term.

Black hat money is never real. It is a scam. A friend of mine venture into it and I was also thinking of joining him. Until when he told me his ordeals.

I have read about those type of marketing tools, but after reading so many things, and tactics that are used there,I didn't even wanted to try them out.I would rather prefer white hat marketing than bhm.

Yes there are many forums where people hang out to learn new method. And the reality is that those methods may not work. And the worst part is that it can be pretty ineffective to try out the marketing through the black hat. As you can lose the money any random ways. And things can get pretty difficult if you get banned from affiliate networks if you try them out.

It is always very important and necessary to follow the best practices on your way to make money online. Blackhat marketing is definitely not recommended for anyone because it can get you to a whole lot of trouble which may not worth the money you are trying to get.

White hat definitely the best because you can build your Brand from there or like Blackhat marketing that may not really last after small profit.
