A new digital move came from the Bahamas, which made the world's first central bank digital currency available in recent months. The country has signed a giant deal with Mastercard for its CBDC, called 'sand dollar'.
Bahamian Sand Dollar, the world's first CBDC, will be converted to the country's local currency Bahamian dollar thanks to the prepaid card issued by Mastercard, and can be used in businesses where Mastercard is accepted.

Yeah i think countries are now seeing the importance of digital current , so when other countries are into it this gives them more confidence to try it

Yeah, that is true. And because of this I also think very soon more countries will come into the crypto community when they hear and see the gains those already in are getting.

That is a point and that could be one main reason why most countries are also designing their own digital currencies and maybe those digital currencies could also provide their citizens that uses crypto more easy ways of transacting.

This is good news to Bahamas as this action has shown them that the government of the country are very much in support of digital assets

That is the smartest thing to do in this situation. Make use of this technology to create revenue for the country but instead some government are on a constant routine to shut it's operation in country

You are very right about this. Many countries instead of using this new development to generate revenue for their economy are looking for ways to even prevent their citizens from the new development. Maybe by the time they will realize, it will teach them some lessons.
