You have a plan to start a business that involves huge capital. In your mind it may be successful running alone with 50% to 70% chance then will you get some partners or try alone ? which one is better ? And do you think it can be offered as a crowdfunding project on kickstarter ? For example, if the business is say a big social gaming site which will have an app too.

I have always liked a mono business where I start and end alone. Businesses with partners is somewhat stressful. I will prefer investors in my business than having partners.

Bigger business can conviniently grow and funded by one person if the person has the money or has a smaller business that can be use to grow the biger one, if you don't have the resources cofunding is far better.

I do prefer co funding bigger businesses because you will share your experience and opinion with people to learn more and also you will be safe as losses can be share equally likewise profit.

It all depends on your capability in running said business. Most people would look for a partner if the project is big enough. Rarely do they do it all alone.

Another thing I feel people consider for partnership is that if they have no much knowledge about the business or it a new business they prefer to cofund to avoid unnecessary losses.

I think the person as partner, if he is my long time familiar friend and I love his company or encouraged that both of us touch the success together will be a good thing to see and same time he is helpful and honest then to make it a stronger start with him (need a mknd set that I will be happy with 50% profit say not expecting more than this). Otherwise alone is a good option if one is capable in capital supply.

I would get a partner in only two cases, first case is when there is no enouth capital and the second case if he's capable of bringing about a serious change to the business

Successful business operation is a key factor here. This is more important than capital. Daily need to stay active and don't underestimate failure.

The main formula is you should understand that business. What we can do is to learn from or look at the business you want to establish closely and then only start it.

Having passion and deep interest also a matter to choose. sometimes business is highly profitable but so boring that admin hands it over to several managers and business fails sometimes.

That is why in the longrun it's better to choose a business in a niche you're passionate with. Though if the business brings enough more money, passion is not always necessary.

The two options of starting a business is good plus they have their pros and cons. Personally, I will still opt for owning the business alone but all I have to do is get competent workers for the establishment.

good option my choice is also running alone. One decision. you will not be dependent on partner actions that is good and tension free. only very well known friends can be partners in my opinion.

I honestly have a series of good ideas but I am thinking how to turn them into real business. most of them are website with gaming attraction that people will get paid for their web based game interface. not graphical or flash games.

These are wonderful ideas that could earn you money, what is delaying you from launching them online , could it partnership or capital challenges?.

I think crowdfunding may be a good solution having investors but running alone as only partner if idea is good and have determination. But I suggest before taking real action need ro think thousand times "am I doing any mistake?"

If the investment required is huge better not invest all the amount alone and find a partner or find a source like banks for your startup because consuming all your resources would be a risky option and could end up in losses.
It is not advisable to channel all your resources in one business but if you invest in different businesses the risk will be minimal and the profit is safe and guarantee.

Having a conplete knowlwdge of business is important including risk factors. If preparations are made prior to most major risk conditions one may try his luck alone if that is 50% to 70% opportunity to succeed.
