The passion for a particular job is something everyone strives for, but destiny doesn't always follow our dreams. People who wants to earn with their job they love, sometimes have to follow a different path as the situation requires them to do so.

Some people may have interest in painting, some in photography. But not all of them can chose such profession for their earnings. I personally like to do painting from my childhood, but painting in our area is not a lucrative way of earning. Thus I had to join a boring office work which pays me for 9-5 desk job. Do you think we should work for our own according to our interest, rather than joining under someone else?

The matter comes when we are compelled to a job we don't like, but the point is the following: if we need a salary and our favourite task/job isn't able to generate an income, if we need to maintain a household and/or family members that cannot work, there is not so much we can do but accept the 9 to 5 employment. If it's possible, I would advise to not give up with, for ex. a photographer job. Now we are lucky to live in the www era, where we can do online what we can't offline. Various photographers publish their landscapes photos in this or that paid to platform (for ex. Shutterstock). Even not being the main job, it's better than until 25 years ago, when the only option was to quit because dreams don't pay our bills.
But I understand you! Apart of being a teacher, I'm a creative writer and I love to photograph and to paint too (especially PC paintings).

You may not hàve an option than to work for someone else just like you illustrated in your post. Many would like to work for themselves and pursue their dreams but the situation where they find themselves may not allow.
The situation decides everything. There are people who are still earning good money with the businesses they love to do, people will do such jobs more passionately, than the jobs where there is no interest.

I prefer to work for myself or have a company that people will work for me. Because I don't want to work under anybody and be receiving users from them. So, I learnt fashion design. Now I am boss of myself
Everyone wants to work for what they like the most. But not everyone has the courage to do it. Its because it will have many obstacles. Not every profession you like gives surety of fixed income for livelihood.

There is a saying that goes "life is not a bed of roses". Life don't always goes the way we want it. I personally was interested in painting and drawing but I had to give up on that because it not the best way to earn money especially if you come from a family that is not financially stable. But if you have passion for it take it as a hobby instead of your main job.

Then why should I go for a profession that won't give assurance on bringing food to my table. That is a waste of time and money for the learning of the profession.
That's what I am saying. If the profession you like don't bring food to the table, that has no value. It is better to do some job which you may not like, but surely will fill your stomach.

It is not everybody that will go into a profession. We can not all be skilled workers. The world will not be balanced. As we have skilled workers so are business men. For someone that can not learn a skill, it is better that the person do a business.
But if your are properly trained, you will be skilled in any job. For example, an engineer when recruited at first doesn't know anything about machines, but a proper teaching and training makes him a master of his trade.

It is not all well trained people with skill can be successful with there trained skills. So man got to do other things apart from his skill or he should learn other skills
Learning other skills is better when with the jon with interest you have can't earn that much. Or we can also take two jobs at a time. The job that pays better should be the primary job, and the one which we like can be second one.

There's no one that will not like to be a self boss, and evenb if you are working under someone you will be thinking of get your own business. But we don't have choice because not everyone will be a boss that is the nature of life.

We are the same shoe. My hobby is drawing and painting, I was chosen it as my work before but I don't get enough money to pay my bills I find a job. Though, I'm still prepare to start my own business when my savings is enough to establish.

If I have the money to start up a business , I will surely grab the opportunity and thus be able to take decision on my own , work at my own pace

It would be really great to work for myself and never be bossed around by anyone. But most times, working for someone else is the only way we can earn a living. Sometimes our hobbies, interests and talents may not have enough profit to pay out bills. So we get used to working for someone else.

For myself because i want my efforts to be actually rewarded and make my life easier the longer i do work or business since it's all mine

I prefer working for myself ...when you are self employed you make your own legacy ..you are the only decision maker you make your own rules . I really do'nt like to be bossed around .

It is better for one to work for oneself. When you own your business, you'll be able to react anyhow to the business. There will not be any rules against you. Besides you will own all the profit.

To be frank I had wanted to have a business but when I got employed in a bank I seemed to be contented with the job and the salary. Now I am nearing retirement age and probably I can make some plans of a start up just for my occupation when I leave my job.

If you can tolerate and content with whatever happens in wage employment, then you can move on with it. It's just that it's not everyone that can tolerate weaknesses of wage job.

Working for myself is cool it comes with so many benefits. One can run and control affairs as he wants it, there is freedom of time to do what i want to do at any time without any disturbance from anyone.i also take total responsibilities for the profit or losses made in the line of the business.

It's not everybody that likes to be directed or have someone dominate over them. I'm a kind of person that thinks deeply and I like to make decisions. I hate to be directed wrongly. It always pains me. I rather direct myself instead.
