The covid-19 pandemic has affected many countries tremendously . Malls , shops and supermarkets fears to exchange fiat currency with customers .
Some countries are planning on creating a digital form of fiat currency .

if countries are to create the digital form of fiat currency , what effect will it have on cryptocurrency ?

I think there won't be much adverse effect since the digital currency that will be created doesn't flunctuate s,and its just to cushion the pandemic effect ,things would go as usual

I believe people use cryptocurrency because it is digital and convinent for transaction . secondly Fiat currency may be a medium through which covid-19 may be transmitted . so with digital fiat currency, don't you think cryptocurrency use may be affected ?

Crypto currency would be affected positvely and people will get to know about crypto currency from the use of digital currency since some people still doesn't know about crypto at all

True they have the same value but digital fiat currency will be preferred by some people , as the value remains constant than cryptocurrency with fluctuations in value

Yea , but that is for those who are not smart . The smart ones will sooner or later understand that cryptocurrency is worth using as it offers opportunity to have more than the initial value of deposit .

This crypto thing is about interest and motivation. A friend of mine called me this evening , I introduced him to bitcoin buying and holding , he bought like $20 last months and currently he has $28 so he is motivated and wiling to go into trading new coins now, I suggested binance already to him.

At first , I was thinking that digital fiat currency will make them to turn their eyes away from cryptocurrency , but then I have realised that it will even make them to deal more with fiat currency .

If a country wants to discouraged Crypto currencies they won't attempt to launch any digital fiat currency so that the citizens won't be easily tempted to dive into Crypto currencies.

Still too early to speculate. Besides, because of the fact that fiat currency, digital or physical, is still heavily regulated by the governments make them no threat to crypto itself.

I'm not sure that all countries can accept this idea. We should support stablecoins, it can be useful right now. USDT for dollar, EURG for euro etc
