The trend is nowadays people spend on time on facebook, instagram, twitter and other social medias.

Even if I browse websites it is only for news sites.

And then if I need to check out info guidance like how to fix my hanging android phone, then it is more likely that i would go to youtube and watch the step-by-step instructions

And also V-logs are more relevant than reading travel blogs with photos.

What do you guys think?

I don't think so blogs and websites become irrelevant one day because people are always looking out for new information in the society or market wherever , so blogs and websites are a great deal of knowledge and information which never lasts in my view.

only and if only an alternative appears , i know that social media platforms are dominating , but not for so long , if website owners push the visitors to enable the notifications , then that's a good thing for them

I think it won't be irrelevant one day. People tend to look for new ways of learning and information. As for me, maybe it will just be enhanced and be updated in accordance to the world's trend.

Blogs and websites will not go out of the business completely, but it will not be at the peak as it was and it is. People are switching to videos and other interactive ways.

The only that continue to be constant is change,so this is to say nothing is static and anything can change at anytime. With the way people have abandoned websites and blogs already now,it is likely to be irrelevant years to come. People do more with social media and YouTube now.

I think not that will be our virtual home instead.
and where will they pull the news from?

I think that the website will still remain relevant , just imagine from where you would download your favourite game , music , software and list goes on . A profitable niche is the way you manipulate it to be profitable , i think so .

Not for a long time. Websites are still the way to go, period. The way we build and host websites, however, are starting to change with cloud hosting and more modern tech.

This discussion boils down to the debate between written information or viewed or spoken information. There are pros and cons in both forms of imparting information.I think people will shift from one to other from time to time according to their likes at the moment,as I still can't see any clear winner here.

i don't think so , because while searching for an issue , the first thing that comes to your mind is youtube/google , which means those researches will lead you to the websites which also means they won't die

Well, each and every person has their different choices and needs. If somebody wants to make their time fruitful, then they will definitely spend less time on social medias.

I personally spend more time on BMF as I love being here and exchanging useful information with the community and then spend the rest of the time on youtube and other sites. I am definitely not into those social media craps.

As for me.. i dont think blog or website can become irrelevant as far the content on the blog/website it genuine it will keep driving to traffic to the blog/website for example BMF.

Sometimes, when learning about a difficult process that is difficult to grasp through words (maybe sometimes due to lack of language proficiency for some foreign users),sometimes audio-visual mediums provide much aid in learning.

No, I do not believe blogs or websites will become irrelevant. Websites is very vague term.

Anyways, People will ALWAYS seek content regardless of the format and there will always be people who despise Large corporations that control what you can post/share and force a pay-to-play atmosphere.
Exactly, because most of google researches will take you to websites in most of the cases which means websites will remain having traffic

Where I live, (China), websites have almost been forgotten! People here use, almost exclusively wechat. But, I agree that the question is rather irrelevant, as while websites are forgotten here, the content is the same - it's just moved. In much the same way SMS here has been totally forgotten - but the function has not gone, it's just moved to other platforms.
