The 2020 US Presidential Election has come up and it's a battle between Donald Trump and Joe Biden with who gets control of the White House for another 4 years. But do you think the outcome of the election results has any effect on the price of bitcoin? If you consider the last election between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton back in 2016, bitcoin's price rose up from $700 to $735 after Trump's victory. Will the same scenario happen this time??

I still see no correlation between Bitcoin and US presidential election . Moreover the election is over and the price is still at $15000 that it was during the election

There is absolutely no correlation between the two and there are no indications that there will be. Maybe after the winner takes over come January, we would know then.
Glad to see that someone else is still thinking in the same direction with me . perhaps if the prediction is that one of the winner will promote bitcoin usage , perhaps it would be better

depends on the new president's point of view about it, but i believe it will always remain the same with some improvements, because it's everywhere in the US, so it can't get banned out of nowhere

Yeah and so far there has not been any security treat that can lead to the ban of cryptocurrency in US for now . Let's wait and see what happens

The election is over and nothing has changed Bitcoin is a coin that has stood on it's own for a longtime on it's own with my research, a nations election cannot do it any harm it has survive over 10 years and still counting

You may be right because US is not the only country using bitcoin and I am beginning to see that the US doesn't longer command the influence it used to have as before.

Your last statement is it for me now. Till the take over period which I'm still doubting though. But for now nothing has changed about bitcoin

I believe I pointed out during the election that the rise in Bitcoin price has little or nothing to do with the Us Presidential election

I agree to an extent that US and its influence may have reduced, at least when it comes to Cryptos. We have other countries that are more vested in Cryptocurrencies than the US.

US may be the world most powerful nation but when it comes to crypto, they don't have a say on the network. Bitcoin is a coin that have stood on it's own for a very long time

after the huge developement that it received in the US and lot of countries, i don't think that the new president will throw all of that effort into the waste :)

Definitely he won't , and even if he needs to do so , he can't do it immediately , he needs time to think it out thoroughly and present good reasons against it

i don't think it works like that, even with the time, it's almost impossible to remove all of those new banks and agencies that are meant specially for cryptocurrency

Well, the us elections have come and gone and there was no significant trend in the rise of fall of Bitcoin or other crypto currencies. I think it is only factors that affect demand and supply that would affect bitcoin.
We can't really say that the Elections had a positive note negative effect on bitcoin price though the price was increasing then but not much.

I would say that the price of bitcoins fluctuated as normal during the us elections sine it is highly volatile or were there any significant occurrence during the elections that could have affected the price of bitcoin?
I don't think there was any significant event that made bitcoin to rise or crash , Investors had considered bitcoin as an option earlier before the US election.

like asked will bitcoin be affected. The election has come and gone and YES the coin is been affected and it is on a positive side the value keeps gaining upward to the moon.
