People are too eager to invest their money in gold rather than in bitcoin. This is due to the fact that gold has been around for ages and is considered to have great value. The same cannot be said for bitcoin as it's only been around for 11 years. People seem to be more skeptical about bitcoin. I was reading an article where a billionaire investor named Ray Dalio encouraged people to invest their money in hard assets like gold and not bitcoin. Where would you invest?

Everyone has their own preference. Gold,antiques,collectibles,share or gold have long been established investments. They are all tangible so can be held and seen by investors. Bitcoin only exists as a code in a wallet or exchange and these have been hacked. To many the older investments may seem better from a security point.

Plus gold and minersal have been stable since long and mostly show rising trends in terms of price. You never know with BTC as its just the mutual trust among buyer and seller withou any solid usable asset behind it.

They both are much different from watch other. Bitcoin is not as stable when you compare it with the gold ,hence gold is more trustworthy , and nowadays there are lot of scammers involved in Bitcoin too.

By the way this is also a good thing about BTC. Once payment has been made no one can take it away....being faced chargebacks over illegal usage of credit cards by some scammers on my site.

Gold has become stagnant over the years and it's values kind of stay constant as we compare it with the inflation rates of the commodities so I prefer bitcoin

Yeah for profit , Bitcoin is better because Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency involves more risk than gold or silver. More risk can lead to higher profits. But risk should be taken only with the money that we can afford to lose

Without even thinking twice I will go for gold. Gold is more stable with price and getting a buyer thst can purchase at a higher price is very easy . Gold can be stored as wealth more

If the price is stable , it's just like a stablecoin like USDT , which doesn't fluctuate, so no chance of getting profit by trading them. But you are right as well , gold is safe and always worth the same value almost , so it's trusted by community unlike Bitcoin.

You can't physically own gold easily while you can do so for Bitcoin.

Also, Bitcoin can be used online.

I think this is the outstanding thing about gold,it keeps appreciating yearly than depreciating and it can be stored like wealth better than Bitcoin which the price continue to rise and fall beyond imagination

Gold runs by USD, and USD runs by Bitcoin maybe , but i like to invest in gold because crypto currencies becoming ignored from many countries and can be increase more baning...

Bitcoin value easily changes so if you know the right to invest you could make more money within a short time unlike gold that speedily, gold investment could require minimum of $100 but Bitcoin could be as low as $1.
