If you are a member of any PTC site you can see that most of the ads are of same nature. I mean they are mostly of other PTC sites. In most of the cases members themselves advertise other PTC sites where they are already a member. Their only motive is to get referrals.

Like other mediums like TV or news paper why PTC is not being used as a channel for advertising. I think major companies do not want to advertise their products or services through this channel due to lack of organic traffic. Members who view PTC ads are not actually interested in those ads but doing it to earn money only. That is why Google Adsense also discourage PTC ads.

Curious to know your views on this.

They are aware that most people don't take these ads seriously. Most PTC users don't pay attention to those ads. All they care about is answering the cheat checks correctly. That small bar gets more attention than the whole screen. I think they rather advertise on sites where they can get a broader reach like social networks. Youtube has been bombarded by ads lately.

Probably because I think they don't believe in the veracity of the sites. So they don't think it's safe to use them. Another possible reason is because they don't believe that those types of sites can reach so many people around the world (they may find it a very large effort for a little return).

Most PTC Sites nowdays have offerwalls which present you with opportunities to do surveys, offers, watch videos, download applications and so on. Their main income has never been in my opinion from ads since the majority of people don't pay attention to them and the pay is way too low for the work.

There are some 3,000,000,000 internet users worldwide. A big PTC site like Clixsense has 7,500,000 members. That 0.00001 % of total internet users. Clixsesne should start getting contracts from big companies in near future.

It seems unlikely because first, the companies know that users don't reach to or pay attention to the ads, and secondly? The user figure includes everyone who has ever created an account since 2007. They don't seem to remove or discount defunct accounts or people who don't use them anymore, and big advertisers only care about active users. You can tell they have a large number of inactive users because if you divide total payouts by user numbers, it is only $3.27 dollar each since 2007, or 32.7 cents a year. With people reporting regular higher earnings on the forum and elsewhere there have to be a lot of inactive accounts to have that average.

By comparison, Google Adsense may reach more websites (it has over £2M) than Clixsense has currently active users so larger companies would put their money there.

A company like Coca Cola who has business in 160 countries, will need 30 million or more viewers with a PTC site like Clixsense. It has been talked about that Coca Cola, Pepsi, Dominoes etc.. should buy Ads with Clixsense.

I don't think it helps that a lot of PTC sites end up being scams and disappear as quickly as they came. Why would a company the size of McDonald's or Pepsi take the risk of being associated with a site that could potentially rip off all of it's members and disappear owing them, and the actual company a lot of money? They seem to be doing fairly well without having to take that risk.

Some PTC sites might be legitimate, but the bad ones have spoiled it for them and these days people are wary of anything on the internet, and especially sites that are in a certain niche that has had a lot of bad publicity in the past like PTC sites have.

A $5 billion scam was listed on Indian stock market. There are scams listed of stock markets (DOW Jones etc). People have to do due diligence.

So do companies, and the fact larger companies don't use PTC is a result of that. When they are deciding where to put their money, would they put where they know it would reach 7 million people who just want the next click through a PTC, or 70 million who are actually browsing and stay on the page a while, which is what the larger ad networks get?

Each of the 6000 visitors read my website for more than 10 minutes when I purchased ads with Clixgrid. A $20 Clixgrid ad gets 30,000 visitors.

And when these big companies do the due diligence, they realise that investing a lot of money in a PTC site isn't the way forward. If it was, they'd already be using them. The few PTC sites that ARE reputable and have been around for a long time might work for smaller businesses, but you're never going to get Ford or organisations like the NFL investing billions in PTC sites because what they can gain isn't worth the risk they take if it does end up being a scam.

30,000 clicks a day or even an hour isn't going to make that much difference to a company that's already got a well know, widespread reputation making billions of dollars a week. They also don't have to rely on PTC sites when they can go out and spend $15 million on a 30 second advert at the halftime of the Superbowl, and in them 30 seconds reach a global audience of millions.

The reason why PTC sites are not advertized on the TV for it isn't that exposure or view that counts much. As the system so suggests, it's pay to click. That means the frequency of the click matters. It is the number of click that generates the earning. Whether the ads are beneficial or not as long as they are clicked the purpose has been served.

However, there is a big problem on that especially when the click isn't being considered as organic. It is the robot or the script that manipulates the clicking. It is mechanical and it is illegal.

PTC sites do not carry the mass appeal as do as print, radio, and television media. many of the subscribers on the PTC sites don't generally direct their attention to the ads that are being run on these sites; they are more focused on the timer because they are trying to gain the quick rewards in the shortest time. Many subscribers seem to easily become frustrated with the small earnings and leave these sites at a rapid rate, therefore, there will not be a guaranteed level of viewership.

Why do they show ads on TV? It's because TV ads can catch a person's attention, and might be enticed or convinced to buy the products or services being shown.
Why don't reputable businesses not showing up on PTCs? It's because people flock to PTC for earning money, and not to buy the product.
