I don't think that's fair. That means I am getting punished for editing my post. My post was not deleted for violating the rules and editing a post is not against the rules. I just added additional information to make it easier for members to access the source. Please consider changing this system of removing 100 coins every time a post is edited.
This problem has been reported couple times via PM to me and I want to put this in public you guys can talk about it and decided what better for the BMF community.

This problem is for those categories that give you high earnings only. Not all categories.

In those review categories The BMF Coins System gives you 50 BMF Coins guaranteed and a random amount between 0 to 50 BMF Coins, if you delete or edit your topic you will lose 100 BMF Coins, the system cannot delete the random amount, I have addressed this issue to the developer of the addon and he said that's how it supposed to be.

Scenario 1: I must put the maximum to revert which is 50 + 50 = 100 if not someone can play around editing their own thread and make more coins doing that, earning from the random amount.

Scenario 2: I can put A FIX 50 BMF Coins RATE per new topic and when edit / delete a topic you will lose fix 50 BMF Coins but no random amount added up to 50 BMF Coins.

Let's debate, what's better for you?

Well first, I don't understand why coins have to be deducted at all when we edit. How about not deducting or adding any coins when we edit? Is there no option to change it so that only deleted topics (manually deleted topics, to be specific) will have 100 coins taken away? When we edit, we shouldn't get any awarded any more coins because we are technically still working on the same post/topic.

Look in the image above, those are the settings I use, it's impossible not to revert back coins when someone edit, the system is based on events, when you post that's 1 event, when you edit that's another event, let's suppose you post 340 characters review and did not get the reward because you need minimum 350, when you edit and add another 10 characters the system recalculates and will give you 50 BMF Coins and a random amount up to 100 in total.

I know is not fair when the system takes away 100 BMF Coins because you very rarely get that much, but if I don't put these settings, any person will generate BMF Coins playing with the edit feature only.

By the way, did anyone unliked your post/topic? if yes you will lose 5 BMF Coins, why? because 5 is maximum you can get when someone likes your content. Same thing, I can either put a lower amount but fix or enforce this so you guys can earn a little bit more from random amounts, plus it's more fun when the system gives a random amount.

Also, I always imagine a review must be couple lines, you also get a good reward up to 10 cents so better play it safe and post 4-5 lines of original content in that review.

If you wanna add more content, why not reply below you own topic?

But don't you have the power to delete topics and remove coins from our accounts? For example, when we cashout and you pay us, how do you remove the coins from our account? Manually or by system? I feel like if deleting topics and removing 100 coins can be done manually, then maybe we can set the thread negation to 0. That way, editing doesn't penalize us and only those who violate the rules will be punished.

I remember you saying that double posting was strictly forbidden so I try not to do it ever. Has that rule changed?

But also, sometimes you want to add information in the first post so that people will see the information. If you add the information as a comment later on, people might miss it.

I have the power to delete, edit your coins balance. But imagine if 20 members edit a topic, I have to edit manually 20 acounts. I don't have that time.

When I delete your topic means your content is copy/paste, if that gonna happen, on your 2nd attempt you'll be banned for life.

Delete is different from edit, when you delete you lose 100 BMF Coins for good, but when you edit you lose 100 BMF Coins and after you insert additional content you are awarded again when hit publish button.

If the negation amount is set to 0, it means you get a number of coins for first posting, when you edit you get again and so on because there is not setup negation, by doing this you cheat the system.

The only way is either you post 4-5 lines and stay in the safe zone when you post reviews, or I lower the reward to a fix 50 BMF coins per review and no random amount, but I know many people not gonna like this.

I guess this is the biggest problem then.

I encountered this issue as well, and realized that this is how the system works. With the current limitation, I'd prefer to stay as it is now. I just try to make sure as much as I can before I create the thread.
