Bitcoin transaction fees is more usually when the network is congested. But altcoins like litecoin or bch , have too less transaction fees.

Other than Bitcoin , there are good cryptocurrencies like ethereum or litecoin too. You can see how ethereum has rised from $200 to $280 in around 2 months , so altcoins have good potential too.

Yesterday, ethereum rose up to $305 and presently now , ethereum is at $310 .
I regretted investing small amount in it .
Even bitcoin has hit the 10k threshold

This is while you have to invest in altcoin now that the price is low ,so that you that when the price rises , you will reap the fruit of your investment. Am also going to invest in two of them

Nice idea , altcoin especially those built on the bitcoin or ethereum network rise together with bitcoin or ethereum rise .
Now is the best time to invest on altcoin .

You sold ethereum at #200 ? , assuming you didn't do so by now , ethereum is at $380 you should have made much more profit .
Anyway all these things are lesson s for us to learn .

I don't think it should be a thing of regret but that wave of trading , if it has dropped you will be happy you made a wise decision. You can invest now for a target of $20k of bitcoin.

I won't invest in Bitcoin.

I only invest in alternative coins that are undervalued with good underlying purpose. And good potential ahead of it.

My reason is simple, I would stand to gain more in return.

If I invest in a Bitcoin at $16k for that same amount of money I can buy as an example 258,064 ADZcoins. I am using ADZcoins as an example as that is the coin I like, but there are others out there too.

Now 1 ADZcoin reaching $1 is extremely easy and that would have made me 1,600% profit.

To get the same return with owning 1 BTC it would have to reach a value of $256,000 per coin.

Now I can see an ADZcoin reaching $50+ per coin before I see a Bitcoin ever being worth $256k per coin.

This is why it is better to invest in alternative coins than Bitcoin, because the opportunity to gain huge gains is in the alternative coins instead. The Bitcoin train has already gone. Only noobs probably think of investing in Bitcoin due to the media hype behind it, but when they get more experienced they would figure it all out.

Besides, there are so many better alternatives on the market that even does a better job than Bitcoin at fulfilling its purpose.

This is so well explained and I could really learn a thing or two from it. This however will not stop my investing in the top coins that still have a bit of security to them.

Normal recommendation - Invest only what you afford to loss.
Cryptocurrency price is subject to market risk and it goes up and down.
People can even invest in stable crypto tokens, but there is hardly chance of raise too. It is only for those who use them for exchange when they think it is right time.

Altcoins aren't necessarily better than BTC. But, what's true is that it's better to diversify your investments. That way you don't risk all of your money in one asset. Note that reading news and learning through experience is important before trading/investing! Also, you should always believe in whatever it is you're investing in. I know I'm into blockchain technology, cause I believe that real-world adoption of crypto is near! News like this keeps me positive about cryptocurrency in general.

I don't think investing in altcoins is better than investing in bitcoin. But I don't think the other way around. I stick with those cryptocurrencies that I think have any potential. In short, you can invest in the top 10 cryptocurrencies.

Altcoins are more volatile in nature as they can gain or lose more than 300% in a short time. I prefer trading altcoins due to their unstable price movement.

Investing in altcoins is better because it's cheaper and has the propensity to rise higher. Bitcoin is very costly now and may not reach 200% in coming months unlike altcoins.
