I'm wondering why there are viruses in every ad in some websites that are using some different ad networks, why don't they just put real links instead of "you won an iphone 12" ads with viruses included.
Does anyone know why?

You are quite right. Even the most transparent scams, the ones that it seems totally impossible for anyone to fool for, catch people. Some people just seem eager to throw their money away!!
And so the scams that are well thought out and devious, can surely catch many of us...
Indeed, it is no coincidence that online scams are more commonly the center of attention nowadays!
In fact, the institutions of each country are trying to warn any inexperienced person (and yet also experts), who surf the web, to avoid scams.

They are indeed. But warnings have been around for a long time, and still people fall for scams. It seems that whatever warnings are made there are many people who will disregard them.

The easy answer is viruses pay more to ad network to show ads and the ad networks don't care about this. But If you use google adsense or media net in your website, you may not see virus ads.

Google Adsense and pretty much all quality ad networks are virus free. It is only the dodgy small networks that cannot attract quality advertisers that will rely on viruses and other such things.

Because they earn more from the viruses instead of ads, so you have to check the best ad networks to have on your site, it is hard to get approval from them but actually they are good and trye

But google adsense can easily ban your site and then you will not prove that you are not guilty and will not be able to earn anything on your site! (

You are quite right that Google Adsense can easily ban your account, and once it is banned it is very hard to get it reinstated, but I have not heard many stories of people being unfairly banned, mostly if you are banned from Google it is becuase you have broken their rules.

Likely because they don't have a lot of legit advertisers so they take what they can get from dodgy advertisers and sometimes the ad networks don't monitor what is being advertised, so the publishers had to report it but that would also mean losing revenue.

It is not quite like that. The ad networks that have virus etc know they do. It is their plan, and was always their plan to operrate their ad network like this.

No, Google Adsense and indeed all reputable adnetworks will never contain viruses. But there are many smaller, and rather 'shady' ad networks and those can indeed contain viruses

They pay more.. imagine getting an ad and accidentally clicked it and bam! Your phone got fished and your bank accounts got leaked.. that's why they make more money

"Not only you, today everyone wants to make money without doing anything. Each of us is looking for a shortcut to make money. How good is it if money grows on a tree? You don't have to do a little work to get money." how sad it is ...

Apparently, the virus companies create the viruses first, then once they've infiltrated and been effectively disseminated, the databases are locked, and users are forced to pay a large sum of money to unlock their devices

That is only one kind of virus (known as ransomware), but I don't think it is the most common. Many viruses nowadays invade privacy, they track us, steal information which can be sold.

Another reason i think of is... It's easier to qualify for these ads instead of on AdSense or other legitimate ad providers. People should always be careful

Oh yes, very true. Most webmasters who have virus laden ads probably don't know they do, they just want to earn money so join an ad network without bothering to check if it is a good one or not.

Yeah they just want to earn money and too bad all they can get is those ads providers who puts those malicious ads in their websites

Indeed, but don't blame them (or at least not too much). I remember when I was starting out in online money making I just signed up for anything without really understanding - and I had some poor quality ad networks on my sites! Experience has taught me a lot, but there are many new webmasters out there who just haven't learned enough yet....

Well now, yes, I can read :) I did read your post, but you said you didn't think Google adsense would use viruses etc, when someone says they don't think it means they are unsure, I was mearly confirming that indeed Google does not.
