I have noticed that with the websites that i use there are changes generally in teh ending of the website which indicates teh domain and sometimes the region as well. Why are there changes that constantly happen to the domain? Is this for security reasons, or does it have anything to do with legality or something along those lines? I am looking into creating websites and this was one thing that caught my eye.

Do you mean for instance if you type in Google.com in Hong Kong you will be redirected to Google.hk instead? It has little to do with legality, it is just so these big websites can tailor their sites to the users in different countries and regions.

When your current domain name doesn't reflect with your brand and business, industry shift Perhaps your domain name is no longer relevant ,or helpful in distinguishing your product and business at the market place

The thread starter had a slightly different point. Not about changing a domain of a business, but rather when you are on a website sometimes part of the site is on different domains and with different extensions.
Actually changing the domain of your site is something that you should think long and hard about, if your website is established then it wastes a lot of time and effort to up and start again.

Yep, the ending or tld is related to the localization.
Usually, the global, or .com site will detect your location and/or your language and then determine which version of the site suits you best.
Other than language, the site may also have different products offered for each region.

I find that very annoying - some sites allow you to choose which location you want to access, but you are quite right, many sites will detect your location and force you into the site designed for your location - which is fine, unless you happen to live in a country where you don't read the language! As the world becomes more and more international with more and more people living abroad I think websites should take a look at this system!

This is simple. A website owner is searching for Google Adsence approval and if the domain name is not approved then what he do he changes domain name and resubmit for approval. It could be redone until the monetization is approved. If not he is redoing the process again and again or search for another monetization tool.

Possible I suppose, but as far as I know you can resubmit the same domain to adsense (provided of course you didn't get, and then loose, an account).
Most people are rejected from Adsense based on location (I know that, as it happened to me!) if your site is of good quality and you are based in the right part of the world then adsense approval is very easy to get.

There are static domain and non static domain and each of them have their benefits and disadvantages. Some cheap hosting plan can change your domain end without notice. The reason is to pressurize you to buy your special customized domain. I think that what they called. On the hand, some hosting companies use to do it to reduce load to their servers and make the sites load faster.

So it depends from location so no need to waste time if you are from a location where there is no adsence approved because even website with good informations and content could not be accepted due to the location that you are living in the world. Thanks for sharing this precious information.

There is no question that location counts, but I do not know to what extent. I live in Mainland China and I know that when I lived in the UK I got instant adsense approval, but from Mainland China a very similar site got no reponse at all. However, I do not know about other countries and which may, or may not be approved. I would imagine that the US/Europe etc are no problem but some smaller countries may face the same problems I had here!

The domain of a website can change for a variety of reasons. The main factors for deciding to change a domain name are related to branding, website usability and search engine optimization (SEO).

Sometimes most brands use the same domain name across various extensions for traffic purposes. When a website is getting tons of traffic, they can be channelled to various servers for better optimization and rendering.

This is simple. A internet site proprietor is trying to find Google Adsence approval and if the area call isn't always accepted then what he do he adjustments area call and resubmit for approval. It will be redone till the monetization is accepted. If now no longer he's redoing the manner over and over or look for some other monetization tool.

If a website is acquired by another company or merges with two companies, the domain name might need to be changed to reflect the new ownership. A website's exposure and search engine rankings can be increased by altering its domain name,
