Whenever you attend meet-ups or see photos from blockchain or crypto events, 90% of those in attendance and those representing blockchain companies are usually guys.

What's stopping women from getting into the crypto space?

Systematic barriers? Lack of interest? Lack of acceptance?

None of the above. Scientific reason: just like in ***, most women aren't aggressive. That's why only a few of them join the crowd of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) in cryptocurrency hype.

i think its lack of interest.. from my knowledge most females see crypto as a waste of money thing.. some dont even know what BTC, ETH etc is
and fun fact most woman like hard cold cash not digital currency... lol

In my perspective as a woman. I think it's just lack of knowledge, awareness, or not in the scope of their interests. I am particularly new to digital currency. I've heard and read about them when it was still just starting but I was not really interested at that time. Whenever I try to talk to some of my girl friends about digital currency, it's either they ask what it is or they are not interested at all. Some of them still prefers to earn money in a traditional way.

But there are still a lot of women out there researching about crypto currency, HYIP, how to earn them, how they work. I saw a lot of youtube vids featuring women. But as for me I prefer to just watch them and post on forums than posting vids. I also don't know any meet-ups or groups from where I'm from, and if there are any groups, I would probably join the group but I am not sure if I could attend the meet-ups. It always depends on how busy I would be.

This is not true at all. I have many friends who are lady crypto enthusiasts as well in Facebook , discord and in many social medias.

I will agree with you because I have educated my sister's a bit about cryptos and even how I get them free from faucets and they are never interested, not even trying for a day. I think it doesn't seem feminine enough for them to get interested.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, there are many women and they do a good job with trading, it's just that women are rarely interested in this topic.

Lack of awareness, lack of zeal to research and also to take risk are some of the challenges. Lots of people see this crytpo currencies as virtual mirage, it has not been easy convincing men let alone the weaker vessels. I know some day ladies will even be more interested.

Some of them are aware like the girls around me.i educate them about it even show them how they can get even free coins from faucets but it seems it doesn't interest them. They believe it more of men's thing just like sports.

The major thing that is discouraging them is the amount they will earn from it , they see as peanut they prefer spending their data on Instagram and Facebook without any return.

This is the issue with humans, we want to make it big within seconds. Making the peanuts daily with time it's add up than just gaining nothing at all daily.

Guys are more likely take risks to try new things than girls do, maybe. I believe there are a lot female crypto adopters out there, it's just maybe they're not as visible or attention-catching than the male ones.

I also observed this a while ago. Most people dealing with bitcoins are men. I think it is a biological fact. Most of us women are not aggressive enough and we work according to feeling. Most men work with their logical mind. I decided to try crypto world myself out of adventure and curiosity out of reading posts about it.

Women are also a part of crypto hunters. But I do agree at first glance we see their presence less. But I saw a lot of friends on faucethub chat, on dice chat and elsewhere. So they are not so less in this sector.

Hope female participation will rise more in crypto. Mostly women are interested in beauty, shopping and similar stuffs so those niche girls usually miss crypto field that might be a reason cause that fashion niche is huge they dont have time to see other topics.

A good observation there, it is very possible that they are less in the area of Crypto currencies investment but active in claiming faucets as no capital is needed and it safe though take longer to get something tangible.

Women originally working as customer support, however, I have seen lots of YouTubers who are female and they are much faster in knowledge than many males who have no idea about crypto.
They could be very knowledgeable about the trends of Crypto but their participation in both mining and trading of Crypto currencies is the major point of discussion.

I've seen them too but they just mostly share ideas and the ideas shared are not really that precise rather just lay-man-terms kind of ideas, most of them don't really dive deep more into crypto
