I always wonder why are iphone's camera quality so much better than the android's camera quality.

I think it depends on the Android phone. Remember, Android is the operating system, not the phone, and there are hundreds of different phones that run Android at any given time. Some Android phones have extremely good cameras (such as my Motorola), whereas others do not.

Not always. Like ErickP said, it depends on the models. For example, the Samsung phones are supposed to have cameras that are the same quality or even better than iPhone's. Cheaper Android phones will, of course, have cheaper cameras but if you get an expensive one, the camera will be good.

What i have observed is that the Iphone works better in natural outdoor lighting whereas samsung stays fine even in indoor lighting.

It depends on the model of Android phone, Xiaomi, Infinix, Samsung, new models of tecno, etc have good cameras with some adding new features before being released.

Samsung Galaxy and Iphone have both very impressive cameras it depends upon your choice , I love samsung though , Never a fan of Iphone to be honest , SAMSUNG phones are of the best quality and retail wise

just like everyone else said it depends on the model and brand and android is the operating system some companys even have features for their phones cameras that are better than other phones even iphones for example i can name quite a few phones that have better night modes than iphones and in terms of sheer quality right now the s20 is definitely a great choice

I was wondering about this as well though, back to the old days when I got a 20mp camera phone. I tried comparing it to and iPhone with the same price range but on 8mp camera. Mine still sucks.

iphone pictures looks better on iphone because of their RETINA screen. but high-end android phones takes better pictures comparing on the same screen

you are right i avoid iphone or blackberry both at all prices because they have complex systems I use android and is my preferred choice when it comes to phone

The stereotype that iPhone cameras are better than Android is one that is true in some cases. iPhone is an actual brand of smartphones. Android is just the OS that people can take and put on their phones. In many cases, people will have phones that don't have the best camera or features, that doesn't mean that Android phones have bad cameras, infact you should probably see the Galaxy S20 Ultra which has a 108 MP camera (the first one to have it was the Xiaomi Mi Note 10) and that's WAY better than the 12 MP iPhone Pro Max camera (lmao it's a really large comparison, but you get the point). The point is, Android is a system, and it can be as crazy good, or utterly terrible as it can be... and let's be real, Android has better value over iPhone, and that's a fact everyone can agree on.

OK, while I agree that the iPhone has a simpler design, Android has the same goal, to be both user-friendly and simple for one group of people, while to also have enough features for the more 'advanced' group to play around with. But saying that "ANdroId = FrEEdoM APplE = ConFORmiTY" is bull. It just depends on what people prefer. People don't mind having all those advanced features because they don't need them/won't use them in their everyday lives. It's not like Android is free of the stigma of a large corporation looming over their technology.

I root for Android too (hehe funny punny) but don't be going out here saying that stuff. I only said what I think is true, that Android has better value, but Apple doesn't mean that you are conforming to something, it just means that you like Apple, and that's fine.

in my opinion oppo's camera is best. and everyone has its own choice. And quality of camera depends upon price if we pay better price than our android phone camera is much of better quality.

There is a lot off difference in money, because quality is all about money, so it has best cameras of the world, having beautiful graphics and filters.
