As you know the world has revolved now and we are like a global village. This means that every country wants to have access to products and services that are improved.

But this is not the case for most products and services in Africa. We do not see Tesla vehicles and Electric car charging stations,we do not see ATM machines and cards that accepts Bitcoin, even only in the recent development have we heard that Americas top pharmaceutical offering it's patent rights for other countries to manufacture their own drugs.

What is your take on this observation?

I think with time if the people educate themselves work hard and prove to the world that they are capable of being frontrunners to leading projects in any niche or business sphere, then the world will give you many chances , so you have to be persistent at the moment guys and not loose hope , because this is how you can achieved great things out :-)

Not only Africa, dear friends: Latin America faces the very same issue too. Years ago, I lost money and the purchased goods too from my former country cause an improper excess of monitoring (there were only simple supplements not needing a medical prescription at all, phytoproducts).

It is a well known fact that as lot of products have been coming from Africa for as many decades back as we can count only that to have them as final products has proven to be a challenge. For instance what is a lucrative deal in the manufacturing industries is electric cars and electric car batteries of which Africa has the raw materials and capacity to produce upto finished products of these items. We have agriculture, currently the Food and agriculture organization has warned of food shortages because of the war in Ukraine,we also have increased prices of fertilisers because Africa has not been a top leading exporter of these essential commodities,we do not export oil and gas.

Is it that we just have to be on the watching of everything. There is nothing that can put us on the global scene?

That was a sad one,was it that the products you brought in the country needed to be accompanied with documentation or a licence. Most pharmaceutical products as long as they are not graded as on the counter drugs needs a licence or documentation or a valid priscription as you have put it.You needed to follow up the case and got the valid reason as to why they were seized because It is your right :)

@Pousinha I Guess that the Seizing of drugs that are meant to provide medicinal use for human body should not be seized " if you would had followed up the case you might have gotten your products " but still the customs are very greedy in most of the countries and that's no difference in Asia too they just want to sack others and ask for money from normal people .

Things should really be standardized and only require reasonable clearance paperwork for products and services to reach Africa. It should not be too complicated for the whole process and it should not cost more but almost the same price range but only expensive for tax and shipping. Am really looking to that day.

Most of the countries that are developing have problems like high shipping cost and taxes that ads to make a product imported from any country get out of the range of buying for the customers living in a country that has medium buying power and the only possible solution is to make products in the own country to fight such things and high import cost on foreign products .

The point is that, the owner of these technological products still feels that Africa is not yet ripe or does not have the technological capabilities to produce there product and these products are expensiveto manufacture, instead they tense to ship it to Africa at a subsidise rate in order to be affordable to those who need it in Africa.

Exactly right the buying power plays a handy and important role for a brand to select a target market and if the region has an active buying and high purchasing market for the product they are selling , only then they start to offer the product and delivery in the locality so they can make money from the sales which is end target for any company not friendship .

Very interesting analysis you have made there,if a product is rolled out in any market then there should be anticipation that the product will sale in a reasonable number that will meet the expected targetted in that way the product owners do not encour any loses. That could explain it as the reason why alot of western products and services of high quality likely fi not reach Africa just yet.

This is not only in Africa but in a lot of countries and the only solution is to better the facilities for the local industries so they can fulfill the demands of the country and can increase the exports and this helps to bring the currency conversion rates better and the Standards of living high for the people of a Country .

So in the just after the release date of iphone14,how many have actually purchased it for business purposes and if you can afford Offcourae this is not meant to scold anyone but on general basis.

How easy is it for top class products and services to reach Africa?

A lot of countries are facing this problem of not getting most products they want but the solution is relied to the government of countries to help people in exporting products that will help the standards of living of citizens because citizens cannot get singlehandedly get the products unless government put an hand. Also this will help industries to create idea of having equipment so as to produce same products in order to gain more sales.

It is not really about bureaucracy. It is about market survey. How many countries in Africa has stable electricity to run the Tesla if it is introduced? How many countries in Africa has adopted crypto or has full support for crypto? The fact is that there is still low technology in Africa to drive all these innovations.

If we tell ourselves the truth, these companies have a lot of things to consider when trying to enter the African market. The African market is not straightforward. With widespread poverty, imbalances in forex and low purchasing power, there are a lot of bottlenecks trying to enter the African market. That's what drags the decision for it to seem there are lots of bureaucracy trying to enter African market.

Its all about politics if you do not know how to make money then you can take politics and that is why it ks called politics burucreacy diplomacy cheating are the basis of politics in most of the countries where leaders have no morals , cheap things come at an expensive price actually indeed .

I once tried importing headphones to sell from the United States to my country, Nigeria. At the point of clearing and collection, the customs officers tried so hard to exploit and extort money from me. Corruption is one of the challenges that causes so much strain in goods from outside getting to African countries.

it is definitely prevalent in most of the tier 3 and lower countries and the authorities are corrupt because the goverments are themselves busy in same things so when fear of being taken to answer for bad things is not there wrong keeps happening in society actually .

There are several reasons why there is a lot of bureaucracy involved in bringing products from Europe and the Western world to Africa. Firstly, there are often strict regulations and requirements in place regarding the importation of goods into Africa, particularly for food and agricultural products
