Hi.
How many of you saw this promotion on the twitter accounts of various celebrities in the world of cryptocurrencies and also advertising on yotube channels where personalities from the world of cryptocurrencies also appeared, offering a refund? ?

I was about to invest, since when I saw the creator of the ETHEREUM chain in that video, I gave him a lot of truth, but then when doing an exhaustive search on the internet, I did not find anything, so I assumed the worst, it is a SCAM .?

Thank God I always research and do an analysis.??

APPLE co-founder Steve Wozniak has joined 17 others negatively affected to sue YouTube for the false promotions that appeared on this network, where they told you that if you sent a certain amount of money you would earn double.
So this story extends and does not end there.

if you are talking about the massive twitter hack that involved celebrities and even presidents, then you are lucky enough you didn't fall for that scam

Those that require you to send Bitcoins and receive twice the amount back? They are everywhere and don't fall for those fake transactions because the scammers make them look legit.

If you think about it, a giveaway wouldn't require someone to actually send something first before receiving, right? ;)

I have just learnt of this,it kind of makes sense now that you have mentioned. How do you invest in a giveaway. It totally makes no sense to fall in such a scam.Yeah hope we all continue to do due delegence of research before accepting offers.

well that's a big scam. Usually the newbies to cryptocurrency fall into trap in such scams. I felt it as a joke after seeing these scam promotions lol.

But initially, seeing those promotions, I imagine that you were tempted to send the money.
Anyone new to this world, in need of making money online or seeing that offer, easily falls for it.

It was not a raffle, you sent a certain amount of money in cryptocurrencies and they returned double. In theory you had a guaranteed profit, with that trick the hackers managed to pocket more than $ USD 100,000:oops::oops:

I can imagine the massive losses people suffered, anyways that is just theory theory.Other people work hard whilest others get on a silver platter.

Well before I am about to invest I always try to make more research not to fall in the hands of scammer , so its good you did so and also enlighten more people about it

It's easy to fall for these scams if you've not been scammed before or are blinded by greed, or ignorance.

I had been scammed once, despite narrowly escaping several attempts. Once bitten, twice shy.

Very lucky. That's exactly what I was telling someone on a different thread. It is easy to fall for these types of scam since the tweets are from the elite.
Yeah people are so sure since they taught its not only coming from an elite but also an high profile individuals ,I wouldn't blame anyone that got scammed

So I can tell you "Welcome to the club", I too have been scammed. At some point those of us who started with internet business have been scammed

That is why it is advisable to take time to do a little research on the investment you want to make and not blindly follow other people. You have to have your own criteria, but we achieve that over time, with experience and if we have a mentor, much better.
This forum is very useful for all that

Twitter generally is vulnerable now so every form of investment from twitter should be ignored at least for now, reviews are necessary before investing in any site.

So very true. Due diligence is very important in any investment. Scammers just build on people's gullibility and greed. Also when it seems to be too good to be true, then apply the brakes.

What happened to your case?

Be honest. Why were you not scammed? I am guessing it is because you missed the tweet. Probably if you saw it a day or two later without the announcement that it was a scam you'd be saying "too late".lol.
even if I see the tweet I might not fall for it because anything can happen on social media , I have seen a legit faucet page been hacked and those hackers were requesting for btc to be doubled , I just ignored it

When I found out that you could earn money online, I believed in everything I saw, although I had my restrictions to invest. I invested in several telegram BOTs and HYIP, sometimes I won, but most of the time I lost, thank God I lost little, $ 1; $ 5. Another scam was when I wanted to sell GIFT CARD, I trusted some administrators of a facebook group and it turns out they were scammers. They scammed me $ 30 and another time they scammed me $ 20.
The biggest scam happened to me with a supposed friend I met doing business on the internet, with whom I had already done several business, I gave him $ 1,000 to invest in Poloniex signals, after 2 weeks he disappeared???

Hahahaha 100% agree with you.???

Some people are good at taking bigger risk which I don't do currently because I hate to loose money I had worked for earnestly, investment sites are risky. YouTube and Twitter has been spotted as target after Facebook.
