While trying to sign up on some sites , there is an option for o e to create an account or easily sign up using social media accounts like Facebook , Twitter and Instagram.
The problem with using g social media account is that it can put your social media account at risk , but is a faster method though .
Which do you normally use ; social media account or creating an account ?

Submitting your own account wouldn't be easy as using your social media account like facebook, but the likelihood of
getting to risk uncover your personal identity would be lesser.
Yes, creating an account by signing up through facebook or gmail is so easier compared to creating an account. However, it is risky and so it is best to just create an account.

First ensure to check the company website is Legit and from there you need to check their social media profiles. If the company is Legit, it will surely direct you to their social media profiles. That is if the company has listed their social media presence on the website.
facebook or google both ask you if you want to give the permission to those websites to control your account, so they can take the data themselves without having to set it manually

Yes, they do that. When you give permission, they get those details on their own. That is why it is best to know that the site is genuine before giving it the permission.

What if I don't have any social media account linked to that email? Always have multiple email addresses for multiple purposes. I try to separate my personal life with my professional one.
Exactly what I do. I have several email addresses and they have various levels of importance depending on the information that passes through them. There are some mails I easily ignore in some and others I dare not.

To tell you the truth social media account to sign up in a website is not that safe, thou faster. You should instead create a new account and be patient. My two cent.

I think creating your own account is much better because you can control how much information you give, but if you trust the site and you are too lazy to input your info you can just use your social accounts

I do worry about managing my online presence also. But registration often comes with ease especially when you sign up with a linked account.

when considering easiest way: then the option is social media connecting and I don't see much security threat if you use great security option and still there are a potential your sm account leaks: so using the custom sign-in is good 4 security

I think if you use social media to sign up on site is easier because we don't need to type username, password and others . My choise is social media sign up.

This question is interested and also important for new members. Well I personally recommend to make a separate mail and then use that mail to signup in sites. It's safe and tension free

Yes but some sites are not safe and we shouldn't take risk for this small benefit. I think we should use separate mail to join these sites .

Yeah. I for instance have a special email that I use to sign up on different website which happens not to be my main email address . And I also use a site that shows if my email has be compromised to check my email

I always create new accounts with email address as I don't like to risk my social media profiles as I was in problem once when I signed up with facebook and the consequence was so bad. My account got hacked and when I tried to gain access my account, I could not get it back. Though it was my second account so I got away.

It's more convenient to use your social media profile and its faster and does not require passwords but only to it when you are very sure that your information is guarded strictly by that companies privacy policy which alot of companies have terribly failed to own up to.
For the rest use the manual signups and give only the necessary information for the site you are working on.

Yeah there are many big companies which failed to keep social media accounts of the customers encrypted. Which caused many people's profile get hacked and many other terrible consequences. So I prefer not to risk my own identity.
