While trying to sign up on some sites , there is an option for o e to create an account or easily sign up using social media accounts like Facebook , Twitter and Instagram.
The problem with using g social media account is that it can put your social media account at risk , but is a faster method though .
Which do you normally use ; social media account or creating an account ?

I always create new accounts with email address as I don't like to risk my social media profiles as I was in problem once when I signed up with facebook and the consequence was so bad. My account got hacked and when I tried to gain access my account, I could not get it back. Though it was my second account so I got away.
Same here. Using social media to sign up in sites is both risky and not proper. I think is better to be using a particular email for any sign up we want to do.

Yeah I use email as it is safer and use very easy and alike password with the email address. This is to prevent the company to guess my email's password . Using solial media to sign is a very risky idea.

Its better to create another social media account when it comes to signing up on new platforms. It's the approach i use and even when a platform is not trusted and your account is hacked, it does not affect you as compared to using for main social media account.
Most sites that demands signing up with social media also have accomodation for signing up using emails . I think I will use that option of emails because my email has two factor authentication .

You are right .the best way is to signup with a mail to avoid risks because we are not sure which sites are legit and safe and which sites are just using us to get important details about us.

I prefer keeping my personal details safer when it comes to sign up on websites. I prefer to you use custom sign up method. Not using my own social media account, I don't like leaking my privacy.

Yeah I don't think risking my real identity to a company I don't even know properly is better in respect to save time time. If you want you may open up a fake social media account and use that if you want to save also that amount of time.

Hey buddy how can I open a conversation with you I need some info from you. Not here.

If you are not sure about the integrity of what the site collects about you then you should crete a social media account dedicated to only signing in on websites. There is no way that your security will be compromised because they only have access to what you given them and that account does not contain anything they can use to track you.

Yeah that's fine to open fake social media account for signing in to that particular website but I would only prefer to do that if they don't have any opportunity to use any email accounts for registration. Otherwise I think registering simply just with email accounts are fine I think.

If you are signing in to a website that you do not trust completely then you should not continue with social media. There are some sites that say they will not track you when you do that but they will. Tracking someone through social media is very easy. Do not give them more information than you should. Just create a new account.

For the most part, it is safer to sign up for a website with email and password. This is because passwords are typically more secure than social media accounts. Additionally, many websites require users to create a password in order to sign in even if you login with social media accounts which further protects against unauthorized access.

In the past I used social media a lot to register on practically all sites, but after having access alerts from other countries and locations from my email I stopped registering from social media.
