From my experience, I've found SEM to be easier before getting your SEO going strong. The traffic, even if not much, is encouraging.

Yes it is a tools that help your site and blogs appear on search engine SEO is the best since million of users search google and others search engine everyday for something it is better to take advantages of seo first before other form of promotion.
