Since I'm not decided which is best open source ecommerce platform I've created a poll after doing a little bit of research on internet for popular free ecommerce software.

OpenCart, TomatoCart and Magento seems to be the top ecommerce solutions. You get to add your products and then use it with the paypal and other payment system. If you are into WordPress then you can also use the WooCommerce for your solution. It may require only money on the payment gateway plugins side for all those platforms.

To my knowledge, Opencart is the best open source ecommerce platform. Over 342,000 sites have already been built using this platform.

It is PHP based and you can get support for different languages.

It has 13000+ modules and themes. Supports popular payment gateways and shipping methods.

If I am asked to choose from the numerous of very good e-commerce open source software's I was there I am definitely going to go for opencart. I particularly love it because it is the first choice of so many other people and I thought you can be able to meet a readily-available community and support whenever you want it.
