I have always preferred a 50% commission rate. I work on expertnaire as an affiliate marketer. And I've checked from site to site to check their commission rates. Expertnaire is still the best because they will give you 50% of what you sold on their site. That's sweet

As an affiliate marketer the commissions varies from company to company, like Amazon is not paying the same thing like Spotify and like wise other companies. I can only accept an offer which I can find the buyer not the one I can't find the a buyer, no matter the percentage offered. It better to be flexible than pick an offer you can't deliver.

I don't really care much on the rate of the commission. What I care lost is the products. If it a kind of product that will sell fast and it is a high cost products.
Even if the commission is as low as 5% and the cost is high like $500 and the product is a top selling products then I am ok with it.

For me, commission rate alone doesn't tell the whole story
I look at the commission rate and product price

If the price is high, I don't mind lower commission rate because at the end of the day, my commission will be high

The commission rate paid by the affiliate program vary from one to another. You are right. I think the best way to make money with affliate marketing is if the product or service that we are promoting is a revenue share one. I mean that the kind of products that we will earn % on every deposit or subscription. So on every deposit we will earn commission and this is forever and the commission will keep on coming even if we are not promoting.

The percentage is just the money you make from every sale and has nothing to do with how experienced you are.

I am probably not a pro in affiliate marketing but I have been on it for a long time. I started attending affiliate marketing courses and watching videos since 2020 and I have been able to get a lot of knowledge from it.

I think YouTube is the best place for you to get started as an affiliate marketer because there are a lot of things you will learn from there.

If the conversion rate is 30% all I want is consistent sales. this is the reason why some bloggers are making use of Amazon associate to promote physical product as an affiliate.
